An unscheduled court hearing was held yesterday regarding Lindsay Lohan, and her attorney, says nothing has been decided in terms of her release from rehab. Yet.
Lawyers went to court to hear the recommendations of UCLA doctors, who say Linds' condition is far less serious than first thought and want to let her go early.
According to TMZ, sources say it's almost certain Lindsay will not stay at UCLA Medical Center for the 90 days she was given by the now-recused Judge Marsha Revel.
Lawyers met with new Judge Elden Fox in chambers and two letters, dated Aug. 12 and Aug. 16, were placed in the case file. The next court date is set for Aug. 25.
Lindsay Lohan may get sprung fairly soon.
It's Judge Fox's call, although going against doctors' recommendations would be a bit of a surprise. According to Radar Online, they're saying 30 days is sufficient.
Lindsay is currently on Day 17, which could put her back on the West Hollywood club scene by the first week of September if everything goes according to plan.
Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley has worked her magic again. Truly an inspirational figure, Lindsay is well on her way to being a free woman in under 45 days.
When she was sentenced to jail July 20, she was looking at 90 days there and 90 more in detox. Talk about working the penal system over like a cheap hooker.
More details are not available at this time, because the proceedings were closed to the media (medical issues are confidential), but we'll pass along what we hear.
What do you think? Should she be let out early?
