Kate Plus 8 and a Squawking Chicken

Surprisingly, we're not talking about Jon Gosselin in the above headline. No, Kate Gosselin is taking on much more intelligent creatures this week on Kate Plus 8. 

The results are somewhere in between tragic and comic.

Watching her fake cluck at the start of the preview clip below is bad enough, but then you hear her do some real squawking. Similar-sounding to the hen, oddly.

Why she wants chickens in the first place is unclear.

Maybe to teach the kids a lesson about responsibility? For the free food? Because TLC told her to? To have someone new to complain to about Jon and Ellen Ross?
