The Bachelorette Spoilers: Ali Fedotowsky Chooses ...

by at . Comments

All season long, The Bachelorette spoilers we've reported have been spot-on. So while we can't personally vouch for what follows, bear that fact in mind.

Since before Ali Fedotowsky even began her quest for love, we've known the identity of her final two suitors this season - and the one she does not pick.

What's eluded THG, and even the soothsayer of The Bachelorette spoilers, Reality Steve, up to this point is the end result. What happens on August 2?

Is Ali engaged? If so, to whom? Are they dating? Is she still single?

The lowdown was always that one of the finalists, whose name THG has withheld here for those of you who like to remain in suspense, was eliminated.

The other finalist's fate was unclear. Either Ali Fedotowsky chose him and they’re engaged, she chose him and they’re just dating, or she chose neither.

That question has now been answered with 99.9 percent certainty.

Ali Looking On

Ali Fedotowsky's final decision has been debated for weeks.

There is no gimmicky ending with someone returning, just the two men from which Ali must make a heart-wrenching choice - one likely to leave many fans disappointed.

WARNING: Do not read on if you do not want to read SERIOUS spoilers for the end of this season. This isn't vague, Us Weekly-style nonsense, it's a dead giveaway.

On the season finale of The Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky chooses ...

Roberto Martinez!!!

Yes, we've changed our tune, but despite the overwhelming evidence courtesy of Steve, it looks like she and Roberto are together and happy! They are engaged!

For almost a month now, we've known Chris Lambton and Roberto Martinez are the final two, but we were convinced that neither ended up with Ali in the end.

Here's how we thought it was going to play out:

The guy she didn’t pick - the one whose fate was clear - is Chris Lambton. He will be rejected at the final rose ceremony, leaving Roberto and Ali to ... well, about that.

All indications suggest that Ali is single today and didn’t choose Roberto Martinez either. Five different sources report that she’s single, up from three just days ago.

Again, you can choose not to believe this if you like, and there's always a chance Steve is wrong, sure. He's admitted as much. But he's never led us astray in the past.

Weeks ago, the fact that she didn’t pick Chris became clear. However, the news that Ali picked Roberto never materialized. Evidence that she’s single has - in spades.

Well, what do you think? Do you believe it - and are you disappointed in the result? Is there a chance this is all bogus and she and Roberto will live happily ever after?

UPDATE, 7/22: All other Bachelorette spoilers we've run pertaining to this season have proven correct, so we have no reason to believe this report will be any different.

Moreover, the shocking departure of Frank Neuschaefer can be interpreted as an event that contributes to Ali's decision. Was he the clear front-runner until he left?

Us Weekly reports that Ali gets engaged on the finale, but cites no credible sources and uses vague language to describe its "details." We'll find out soon enough!

UPDATE, 8/2: It looks like the producers did a surprisingly good job keeping a lid on the relationship of Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez - they're together!

The reason there was no rose ceremony shown in previews is that Ali took a "huge risk" by dispatching Chris before it even went down. So he did not make it.

She puts all her eggs in one basket and lays it all on the line for Roberto, hoping he feels the same ... and he does! They are together and happy? Who knew!

UPDATE, 8/5: Well, it looks like the final prediction was correct. We were thrown off the trail for awhile there, but Ali and Roberto are in love! And engaged!

They're moving in together and appear as happy as can be. Chris Lambton handled his exit gracefully and looks poised to become The Bachelor ... if he wants.

Were you satisfied with the ending? Did you see it coming? Do you think Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez will make it to the altar, like so few have?

Discuss The Bachelorette spoilers herein, the end of the show in general, and whether you think she and Roberto will last by leaving a comment!

I am a complete skeptic, but I believe in these two (Ali & Roberto). For over a year, I talked myself out of considering a beautiful, masculine, confident, latino man. Ultimately, I let my guard down and have now that same most beautiful, masculine, confident, committed, latino husband (albeit demanding attention, I admit!). I think it's real. Ultimately, it'll depend on values, though. The basics must be in line for the two of them for success.

Roberto is hot and makes a great match for Ali. Chris was a sweetheart but she wasn't feelin it..felt more like a friendship in the end. I'm married to a Latino and boy is he great. It is so wrong for people to be steriotypical towards the latino men(that they are not trust worthy), that is so lame and closeminded. I wish the best for the couple and hope to see them in a long lasting and happy relationship (marriage). In the end it is what makes Ali happy, not us.

aahhh sorry Ali you blew it BIG TIME....Chris is the better of the two men left standing and Roberto is sooo wrong for you. You should stay single because you strung along a great, caring guy (Chris) and ended up with his leftovers - what a shame for you....Chris stay strong to your roots and great family upbringing there is a girl out there who would appreciate your caring, thoughtful ways...too bad you wasted them on Ali....

Mansions, private concerts, $1500.00 a day resorts, exotic locations, fine dining, good looking people fawning over your every word, helicoptors, private jets, private access to high end facilities, the best clothes, your best behavior, assistants to take care of your needs, no work shecdule, on the prowl for a mate. sharing your love interest with dozens of other people. Anybody could fall in love under those conditions. REALITY does in 99% of these unreality matchups.

i don't think either ali or roberto are 'real', at least not in this setting, on this show. anybody who is intelligent knows this is entertainment, scripted, and edited. it's a recipe for disaster (proven time and time again) if you are legitimately looking for love. two months is not enough time together, yet alone in fantasy environments spent around the world. give it a year in the 'real' world with pressure, jealousy, insecurity, etc. call me a pessimist, they could be the ones to overcome all the drama and flourish, but the odds just aren't in their favor. best and brightest wishes to them, and good luck.

If Ali was in love with Roberto - enough to accept his marriage proposal just a few days later, why the crying fit when Frank bailed out? And although she didn't string him out until the final rose ceremony, why the fantasy suite night with Chris? OK--so maybe that would have given it away, since she'd already spent the night with Roberto. But if her feelings for him weren't romantic, why is she all over kissing him (she did this with all the guys.) It would be easy to get the wrong impression.

BOOO I can't beilieve Ali picked Roberto...their relationship wont last just like every other couple from the Bachelor or the Bachelorette!

My teenage niece who is half Spanish told me that Puerto Rican men like more than one woman and rarely stay faithful, so she was hoping that Ali would pick Chris, even Ali said one of her first impressions of Roberto was that he was a player because of his dark good looks, I hope Ali's first impression was wrong because she will have a lifetime of heartache with him if he turns out to be a cheater.

Ali and Roberto had a connection from the first impression rose. They are very sweet together and I wish them well..

Well, I think Ali is phony and I really did not want Roberto to propose to her but since he did, I am cool with it. I am glad that Ali did not pick Chris because I agree with so mmany of you that Chris will find a wonderful woman to spend his life with and I don't think he ha to be the next bachelor in order to do that. I wish Ali and Roberto the best.
