@Ellen: Why would I "chuck some hating words" at you? I disagree with you whole-heartedly,but---I don't hate you. First off,I think Miley DOES empower girls/women in quite a few ways. If the entire female population would dig-in and give of themselves to all of the vast causes to which Miley has contributed---Half of the worlds problems may very well be solved. And if the worst thing that teenage girls do is dress enticing and dance provactively---I'm failing to see the problem. Mainly because I know the extent of what everyday teenage girls do and/or have done to which Miley caused NONE of. Although I would like to point-out that labeling someone as sweet as Miley a 'Slut' because of what she chooses to wear on-stage, sure as hell doesn't sound real mature to me. So you can think that Miley is 'growing-down' as you put-it,yet,when you make comments like that,it makes me believe that you need a little help in the 'growing-up' area. Probably more so than Miley. 'Cause I for one, don't w

They're about as accurate as a bent arrow. Is it a true result or is it the result of the hatred that you have been nurturing with your deceptive descriptions of events? Or, is it that hate attracts hate?...You claim you are the "voice of the people". Are you the chosen one, the anointed one, the enlightened one or the egotistical one? Thank you for the laugh. My Comment: Again, who is slinging the S--T? You see, Dee, you contradict yourself repeatedly, which pretty much invalidates any point you are trying to make. And since you CLEARLY have difficulty understanding others, my point was simply that HH wrote an OPINION article. So you don

I don't know who I feel more sorry for: the girl who ignores society's standards of 'acceptable' vs. 'unacceptable' sexuality for a teenage girl and then gets the scarlet letter treatment for it, or the one who conforms to society's standards for teenage girls and gets held on a pedestal, expected to be perfect all the time.

Labeling my comments as a vicious attack was funny. But then, in a way it was expected coming from one who is comfortable employing several magnitudes of exaggeration. Are you now portraying yourself as the victim?
The "mere words" comes from the following disclaimer that you placed in one of your articles.
"And we make no apologies for our harsh assessments of this singer because, at the end of the day, they are just our opinions. Readers can take them or leave them. They're mere words."
My comments about "mere words" remains steady and valid.
It's not just reading your articles closely, it's comprehending them.

She does not empower woman..because she shows the world + her fans that wearing skimpy clothing will make you seem more grownup.
Her fans defend her by saying "she can wear that..she is 17. she is growing up" ...actually it would mean she is "growing DOWN".
You dont see mature people walking round in skimpy clothing.
People need to stop saying she is growing up..that is NOT an excuse. Wearing "slutty" clothing does not make you seem older.
And if you STILL say "No it isnt slutty what she is wearing" I suggest :
GOOGLE THE WORLD SLUT. LOOK AT THE IMAGES"..take note of what they wear.
I can see such similarities with what they wear.
she may not be a slut..but she dresses like one..
OK "Hollywood" chuck some hating words at me.

I'm sorry, the thought that her image empowers women is a joke. So, to be empowered is to not listen to parents' wisdom and start to show aggresive sexuality? No.

Not entirely sure what your "mere words" argument is, though I do appreciate how closely you've read my articles. You wrote "mere words" and I've responded to them. This took about 5.7 seconds of my time and I'm pretty sure I'll sleep okay tonight having read your vicious attack, so grade that "impact" however you'd like.

This used to be a fair gossip site to visit. Over time it has shifted from gossip to hate. HH(Hilton Hater) said that he is expressing opinions. HH also said they are just "mere words". It should be clear to anyone that the so called opinions are vicious attacks grounded in hatred. HH also said that they are "mere words", strongly inferring that they cannot hurt and carry no weight. It's amazing that HH could be so misguided, but I guess that's what hatred does. It's also puzzling that with so much hate in this would, an individual would be so eager to nurture and spread more. I wonder if it's worth it to continue to visit this site and allow more hatred in my world.
