Why can't people respect her. She seventeen, let her live her life.

@Cool: if you gave a 17-year old $50, he or she might also go buy marijuana. What does that have to do with Miley or this video? Isn't it the responsibility of someone in her position to be a role model and show how one SHOULD act, not how one typically acts? Think what you want of the video, but to argue that any 17-year old would act this way if he/she magically had a music video is utterly asinine and besides the point.

It's just ok. Kind of a stupid video, really with all the bird cages...but whatever. It just doesn't seem all that authentic to me. She doesn't actually dance and the only part that seemed convincing was when she was almost kissing people, it looked like that might've turned her on. LOL At any rate, she still sounds like a little baby, no matter what the words are. There is nothing sexy about her...it just comes across as nasty regardless of her age.

I agree with cool. My sister wasn't even in high school yet and her and all her friends wanted to wear less than that. I'm not saying it's right that our youth wants to wear less but as long as parents are allowing their children to be apart of this culture, artist such as Miley will continue to make videos like this.

ppl need to realizer miley is 17 she is of high school age if u gave any regular 17 year old high school girl the oppurtunity to make a music video i guarantee you it would look a lot like that if not more risque!!!! so yaa..
