Miley Cyrus in Billboard: I've Grown Up a Lot
In a Billboard cover story, Miley Cyrus sounds both mature and cocky.
First, she admits that she's come a long way since she auditioned for Hannah Montana at the age of 12:
"I'm just at a certain place where I've changed a lot as a person. I've grown up a lot, which everyone does."
That's certainly true, but not everyone talks about her music as if it's full of heart, soul and profound meaning that simply can't be found in the pop world. Check out how Cyrus describes her upcoming album:
"I listen to zero pop music, which is really weird for someone who makes pop music. My 13-year-old self would have beaten up my 17-year-old self because she would be like, 'You're a sellout!' But that's not what it is.
"It's not dance music that's just about, 'Ooh, I'm in the club and everyone's looking at me.' It means something. I'm not just sitting here trying to sell glitz and glamour... because no one lives that life. A lot of [pop] songs are super shallow, but this music isn't."
Actually, Miles, your music is EXACTLY like that. The lyrics to "Can't Be Tamed" include these lines: Have to get my way/24 hours a day/‘Cause I’m hot like that/Every guy everywhere just gives me mad attention...
That's more super shallow than most kiddie pools.

You know, Hilton Hater, when you quoted that lyrics of Miley, she meant for those irritatingly annoying paparazzi/reporters/whatever such as yourself who have a sickening hobby of analyzing every single thing she said and/or every single thing she did eventhough you aint any better in your daily life??? LOL!!
If you wanna be smart and trying to figure people's meaning in their song, you oughtta at least have some brain. But too bad since you seem to be "more super shallow than most kiddie pools" eh?

Hey, I was a big fan. what she does with her life is all her, but when she has a young audience and changes into a "sex symbol" she will influence the other young girls too as well. I don't think she understands the impact she has on people, especially as a roll model for most little girls. Growing up isn't about changing yourself, its about taking the innocence you have and applying it to an adult life. Adult life isn't about becoming "sexy", it's about becoming a more MATURE and RESPONSIBLE person.

Actually, if you watch the video analysis on youtube for can't be tamed you'll see that Miley Cyrus is right: the video and lyrics are deeper than what they seem to be on the surface.

First,I want to Thank THG for the picture up-top here---Miley is absolutely Gorgeous! Black-leather is a kick-ass look for her...Second,to all of the ones here defending Miley---WAY TO FREAKIN' GO! I dearly love seeing more fans defend the Supergirl! You guys are AWESOME!! Please keep-up the good-work(and you know who you are!)...Now,to answer the question on Billboards cover: YES. Miley's fans will follow. Most of them have grown-up right along with her. Where they were once running around with 'Hello Kitty' apparel,they'll now be getting ready for Prom's and Graduation's,and---their tastes won't be the same as they were back when. That's how Life and Nature work...Now that doesn't mean anyone should expect them to rush out and be in the next 'Girl's Gone Wild' video(that's a bit extreme)but they shouldn't expect them to look-at nor enjoy the same things they did 5-almost-6-years ago. I think she is a slut!!!!...she dances on poles in fron of little kids that look up to her!!!...she whears skanky cloths and her voice sucks!!!The only her dc's are good is becasue they can change what she sounds like in the studio. When she's in concert she sucks and she forgets her OWN lyrics!!!she's shallow!!!!and i dont knwo what her really cute, really nice boyfriend is doign with ehr but he can do so much better than that!!!!

She needs to get an education, she doesn't even realize how stupid she sounds. A lot of the songs that are out there sound shallow until we hear them on American Idol, and the contestants change the music and then we realize that the songs were actually good and even great songs. The originals just had a lot of glitz put behind them.
