Krista White: America's Next Top Model Winner
If self-serving blow hard Tyra Banks had her way, she'd name herself America's Next Top Model every year.
Fortunately, that's against this show's rules, which meant good things for Krista White last night.
The 26-year-old from Pine Bluff, Arkansas beat out Raina Hein in the finals and was reduced to tears when her name was announced as the winner.
"I can't believe it. I want to pinch myself," said White. "Nobody thought it would be me. For me, to be from the small Pine Bluff with maybe 100 or something people where nobody ever leaves. It's amazing ... I'm excited I'm America's Next Top Model."
Of course, someone has to tell Angela that the competition is over - and she lost.
"I know America loves me," the self-promoting finalist said after being eliminated. "Even though I'm not in the final two, I'm still America's Next Top Model."
Except that you aren't.
Banks referred to White as "the embodiment of a top model." As the winner, she receives a contract with Wilhelmina Models; a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics; and a six-page spread in Seventeen.

ABSOLUTELY DESERVING WINNER!! I am glad she represents real beauty and showing the world that the typical white women think being "pretty" will always pass as a model, doesn't work in this industry! She has the looks, body & talent! And that's why she won. Well Done Krista

Wow, I finally watched an episode from this season and I think that the whole of New Zealand has been eager to experience the modelling world. Anyway I am kinda glad that Tyra came to New Zealand she took a photo with my cousin at the icecream shop and it was so weird because I didn't know she was cool with EVERYONE. Go Tyra.

Krista is ugly on the inside. She always had something nasty to say about everyone on the show even her so called friend Angelea. A top model should shine inside as well as outside. She is too old and looks like a drag queen. I think Tyra should review all video takes that they do in private and look at the inside as well. Someone like her is not who I would look up to or allow my girl to look up to...I know why no one liked her she is U G L Y!

I need to correct my spelling from previous post. Appalling1 Am I the only one who is horrified at the grammar these young women have used on all of these cycles? I would think a grammar coach would be helful for their future lives after and during their modeling careers if they even have them. Some are just as sweet as can be but the grammar?

Raina has the worst runway walk, like she's trying to stomp on ants! She has a beautiful face, but she's awkward and her over-giddy, over-cornyness is annoying!!! Krista is not as beautiful, but she's a much more talented model.
