Bethenny Frankel Introduces Daughter to the World
Let's just get this part over with:
In an ideal world, we'd never see a photo of Bethenny Frankel's daughter. This reality star would resist the urge to profit off her newborn, turning down offers to pose with her for national publications because that's just exploitive and wrong.
That important point made, let's also face it: daughter Bryn Casey Hoppy is so gosh darn cute!
Frankel shows off the tyke in the latest issue of People, telling the magazine about her 30 hours in labor, eventual c-section and how Bryn "came out like a doll. It was amazing."
Bethenny says she and husband Jason Hoppy named their child after the latter's brother Bryan, who died in a car accident 19 years ago. When they told Jason's parents about it, “Jason’s mom was hysterical, crying. They couldn’t believe we kept it secret.”
Frankel describes Bryn as a "good baby" and adds:
“We’re so thankful and lucky to have a healthy baby. This is the new me now.”
It just wouldn't be Bethenny if she didn't conclude with a note about herself, would it?

How sad that so many of you think you have the answers about Bethanny or any of the women on Housewives of New York. If you don't know them personally and closely...you don't know them. You are getting a minute (pronounced my-nute)piece of their lives. They are all out to get all that they can get as many people are...Personally I love Bethanny's dry sharp humor. I admit mine is a lot like it. Can't take the heat...get out of the kitchen.

BETHANNY WAS NOT HOMELESS, JILL LET HER STAY IN THE HAMPTOM'S FOR A FEW WEEKS 2 YEARS AGO. SHE HAS LIVED IN THE SAME APARTMENT FOR YEARS, SHE IS MOVING WITH HER NEW HUSBAND TO A LARGER APARTMENT.
JILL IS THE ONE THAT TOLD BETHANNY SHE WAS TOXIC AND THEY WERE DONE. EVERY EVENT SHE WAS AT AND JILL CAME, SHE LEFT THE ROOM,
SAYING SHE COULD NOT STAND TO LOOK AT HER. BETHANNY HAS ALWAYS STATED FROM DAY ONE, THE SHOW WAS A PLATFORM FOR HER BUSINESS. SHE DID NOT MARRY A RICH OLD MAN, LIKE MOST OF HER CASTMATES, SHE MADE HER MONEY ON HER OWN, SHE WORKED VERY HARD TO GET WHAT SHE HAS. SHE WANTED TO FIND AND MAN AND HAVE A CHILD. ALL OF HER DREAMS HAVE COME THRU. GOOD LUCK WITH HUSBAND, BABY, BUSINESSES AND YOUR NEW SHOW. BETHANNY YOU GIVE WOMEN HOPE THAT THEY CAN HAVE IT ALL....

Our shortcomings irritate us most when we percieve them in others. I see Bethanny as being her own person unlike any one else yes she has her good side and bad side, but don't we all. I watch these reality shows to learn what is right and what is wrong what works and what doesn't they are a wonderful eye opener to lessens we all need to learn in life. The thing that disturbs me on these comment pages is not the difference of opinions and freedom of speech , we are all entilted to agree to disagree but what really scares me is the lack if compassion for others , the hatred that people feel is necessary to get their opinion across. What the world needs more of is trying to understand one another and the reason that makes us all different. Don't just focus on all the bad but look for the good as well. It is human nature that we find ourselves judging others but how fair we are in those judgements is what really counts. I wish Bethanny her beautiful baby and husband the Best Life for all

I hope that Bethanny spares her daughter the tongue lashing she gives to literally everyone around her, except Jason. Her verbally abusive habits don't nec. change just because she is a mother - in fact, what she brings to motherhood is herself - her personality - her way of dealing with others. Not good for a little girl growing up. And Bethanny needs to be nice to Jason, since the only other person who would take her in is Jill, and Bethanny made it clear that once she doesn't need you, you're out. Friends don't stick around only to be used - Ramonoa is right, B. doesn't have real friends because she doesn't know how to be a real friend, again, except Jason.

@Georgia, I'm actually not one bit angry and bitter. As you have said, "People are allowed to express their opinions", and I'm just saying you are one twisted indivudual who obviously love seeing the worst of people. You see her as "cold, classless,[with] mean sarcastic humor." while being cold classless and sarcastic yourself. I just find that hilarious. And for disclosure, I don't work in entertainment industry, I work in investments, have nothing to do with Bethennhy. Just live in NYC, and love watching the show. All I wanted to do is point out that you probably are not aware, that people around you probably look at your every move and words as cunning, calculative and strategic, as you look at the world and someone like Bethenny. I'm sure you look at the world that way, because you are that way. It's just the way this world works. What goes around comes around. Just Say'in. and How's that Georgia?

Hsoo, you actually sound so angry and bitter. You must suffer from some kind of bipolar disorder. People are allowed to express their opinions just as you have. And, for me, I can't stand reality people unless they are doing something productive, so I enjoy posting comments for sport as they say! I think the majority of reality shows, except for a handful of them, are ridiculous and bring down the standards of this country. It's a shame that people like you are so protective over a complete moron. There must be something wrong with you. Is Bethenny providing you with some cash, or paying your bills, or helping you in some way or another for you to so emphatically defend her? It's quite hilarious!! Apparently, you really take this to heart! To me, as crazy as Kelly may be, she comes across as a more sensitive, caring and vulnerable type person who would probably be there for you if you really needed her. @ Georgia, And one more thing. I majored in finance in b-school, and "strategic" thinking is a must for anyone going into business. I'm glad Bethenny is thinking "stretegically", unlike millions who goes into business with ignorant mindset and calls for bankruptcy few years later. Again, I always feel ignorance makes people insecure and scarcasm is just a mask for exactly that. Just as you focus on only the negatives views on people, I'm sure everyone will look at you the same way. You put out what you receive.

@ Goergia, I find it extremely funny that you are telling peole not to criticize your thoughts, while you are doing exactly that of Bethenny. What hypocritical logic you have. Telling people not to do what you are doing. Again, it's ashame some people chose to see only the negative views in everything.
If you are not exactly the type of people that you are criticizing here (shallow people who watches reality shows) why are you even wasting your time in this blog looking at her news or know anything about her? You are certainly not someone of integrity who rises above all these reality show nonsense. I wouldn't say I'm proud of watching these shows, it's my guilty pleasure while I'm staying at home, resting, but it's just plain ugly seeing people bash others with their limited knowledge of someone's actual efforts that goes into their careers (how do you know if Bethenny doesn't do anything for her business? what a egotisitical remark, thinking you know everything about everyone) As
