i hate how child stars cop flack for growing up. Shes going to be 18! and she has been in the media her whole life-so she is probably at the maturity level of 21/22 year old. The lyrics may not be genious, but what songs are these days? telephone by gaga?-so meaningful... NOT. the reality is, they are good pop songs! things you just want to turn up and sing along too, and cyrus is doing a great job at transcending from everyones mental picture of her as 13 to her actual age of 17. good on her! It has been a huge long running disney show, but she is outside the age bracket of 15/16 now, its only natural she moves on and lets new kids take her place. Finally, if you think she is ugly, get glasses.
