Michael Jackson Killed HIMSELF, Dr. Conrad Murray Will Argue in Court

by at . Comments

We've been wondering ever since he was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson how Dr. Conrad Murray would try to explain it away.

Now we know: He plans to argue that MJ did himself in.

Murray's legal defense will hinge on the argument that the pop icon gave himself the fatal dose of Propofol, a hospital-grade anesthesia authorities say killed him.

The defense will argue how Michael Jackson was a long-time Propofol addict, and that "Michael liked to push it" via IV, to the point of going to extreme measures.

His argument will attempt to establish that Jackson's own reckless behavior was the cause of his death, and refute that Murray covered up evidence in the case.

The doctor's story of the Jackson death timeline is likely to play out as such:

Bad Doc

What really happened June 25? Only Michael Jackson and Dr. Conrad Murray know for sure, and the latter has a markedly different version of events than the LAPD.

  • Around 10:50 a.m. on June 25, Dr. Conrad Murray gave Michael Jackson 25 mg of Propofol from a 20 ml bottle, which is only about 1/8 of the bottle.
  • The dose Dr. Murray administered would keep someone asleep for only 5-10 minutes, but the Propofol, along with Ativan and Versed already in MJ's system, had a synergistic effect that put Jackson to sleep for a longer period.
  • For the next hour, Dr. Murray stayed in the room and was on the phone much of the time. He didn't leave the room to make the calls because MJ liked activity in the room, regularly sleeping with the lights on and the TV blaring.
  • Around noon, Murray left the room for approximately two minutes to go to the bathroom. While he was gone, the defense believes Jackson suddenly woke up, frustrated he had spent nearly nine hours trying in vain to sleep.
  • The defense theory: MJ took the 20 ml bottle of Propofol, self-injected the remainder of it via IV and caused a massive overdose, stopping his heart.
  • Dr. Murray found Jackson with eyes open and pupils dilated, dropped the phone (he was speaking with girlfriend Nicole Alvarez) and performed CPR.

What do you think of this theory by Dr. Conrad Murray? Is it at all legitimate, or is he just grasping at whatever legal straws he can find at this point?

This drug was administered out of a medical center, this is illegal, MJ knew that and so did this Dr. unfortunately they are both responsiable for the death of Our King of Pop. MJ because he wanted it and the Doc because he did not follow his proffessional common sense. He knew it was wrong and could not say no to MJ. So yes he is guilty, but so is our King of Pop, he knew the dangers of this drug and that it was illegal so who takes full responsiability? Common sense again---Man's law---The Doc should definiately be held responsiable, A doc is trained to save lives not put them in danger. Doctors have to learn to say no to celebraties no matter how VIP they are. Love you MJ - what a tragic thing to have happened. You leave us with your best "The Music".

To fred - Why don't you and the quack have a propofol party and inject each other for fun? I'd pay to see that one. Even better, add Murray's legal team for fun! By the way, the only drugs found in his system were those given by Murray - nothing for pain, only for sleep. NO cardiologist should be administering Propofol in a home setting. Even if Michael was asministered that before, no one else was stupid enough to kill him. He needed one of his so-called doctors refer him to a sleep lab. They could have fixed it. WHY DIDN'T THEY THINK OF THAT? NOT ENOUGH MONEY IN IT??? The patient trusts the doctor. By the way, Michael looked so happy and energetic in "This is It", there's no way he was unhappy. When he said let's do it again, he didn't really have to - he could have been satisfied but he was a perfectionist and wanted the fans to see the best show ever. It would certainly have been. RIP Michael! We love and miss you!

This is my opinion. Nothing but mines. I don't know what happen, I wasn't there. But in my opinion, Conrad Murray didn't intend to kill Michael Jackson, but if this is Murray's defense.I think it is a big fat LIE.

murray can come up with all the excuses he wants of course he gonna make up a story. he doesnt want to go to jail. the fact of the matter is murray killed him an he needs to pay i bet if this wasnt michael he would of been in jail by now. murray needs to be a man an admit what he did cuz the truth will come out in the long run. an if the justice system doesnt make him pay god will. what comes around goes around. i seen michael in his movie he wasnt unhappy. he was very much into what he was doing he was happy.who died an made that doctor god? why dont we stop talking bout this an do something. that doc needs to pay. i watched this show where these 3 idiot men was on it an the one said murray saved his life. you know what he may have but then again that guy wasnt worth any money either.

African Americans in the U.S. need to stop excusing this doctor's behavior and feeling sorry for him. He is a bad doctor. He needs to serve jail time for what he did. Would you be excusing his behavior if he were white??

This doctor is grasping at straws. In the beginning, he kept saying that what he gave MJ should not have killed him. Now he is changing his story because he is desperate. This "doctor" has cruelly and suddenly taken this wonderful and gifted human being from all the people who love him in this world, and they are many. He was an artistic genius without equal and was never truly understood by too many people who just gave him grief in this world. Murray is guilty and should pay the price, just like Michael did by trusting him as he did. The world has lost a rare and loving soul who only wanted to entertain and make people happy and help millions who were less fortunate than himself. May God Almighty bless Michael Jackson and grant him eternal life. He deserves nothing less for all he has given and shared with everyone on this planet.

WOULD MICHAEL WANT US TO SEND THIS DOCTOR TO THE GALLOW'S...OR WOULD MICHAEL LET HIM EXPLAIN HIS MISTAKES AND TELL HIM HE LOVED HIM? YOU SEE THE INJUSTICE WAS ALREADY THERE BEFORE THE DOCTOR, THAT IS WHY MICHAEL WAS PLACING HIMSELF IN THE HAZE... THE HURT, THE AILMENTS HE SUFFERED WHERE INFACT A CONSEQUENCE OF STRESS AND MISERY. WHY WAS HE TREATED SO BADLY...BECAUSE HE WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND GIFTED MAN ON EARTH, AND BLACK.HE WASN'T JUST THE AMERICAN DREAM, HE WAS A DREAM AND JEALOUSY WAS HIS ENEMY, UNFORTUNATELY

I THINK WE ARE ALL FEELING AN INJUSTICE HAS BEEN DONE, YES IT HAS, BUT STOP PUTTING THE ENTIRE BLAME ON THE DOCTOR! YES A TERRIBLE MISTAKE WAS MADE, THAT WE ARE ALL

To James Potter: MJ didn't have painkillers in his system according to the autopsy report which I read on The Smoking Gun website. All that was found was sleep medications, anxiety pills, and propofol. MJ got help in the early 90's for his addiction to pain killers.

Christ guys are you for real? Yes he was a musical genius but he was a freakin junky. The doc was wrong but do you have a doctor regulating your DRUG doses!!! Come on
