I cannot understand all the hate and jealousy for Kate Gosselin. She is just trying to make a living for 8 children without taking away from their current life style. Wouldn't any parent try to do that? Kate is lucky that she is able to be on TV with shows just as Dancing with the Stars, to do this. Otherwise she would have to work 5+ so called "regular jobs" in order to accomplish this. I think the "Kate haters" of the world need to get rid of their green jealous monsters in their own closets.

I would like to think she cares about her kids. Having said that, I think she desperately wants to stay in the spot light and likes what she probably considers 'celebrity' status. I personally do not admire her. I'm particularly disgusted with her new book. If she wants her kids to know her inner thoughts, there is no need to publish the book to obtain that goal unless, of course, she's after the money. In the end, it's all about money.

I'm not watching someone raise their kids on camera. How stupid is that? Think of all the millions of families out there that are raising their kids , Why should Kate get paid for doing what she is supposed to do in the first place. She is a money whore.

I think all of the hate filled, for no reason, comments relly help her. Idiots, like THG and Pigez, try their damnedest to influence the opinions an views of others, by posting biased and hateful posts about their favorite and least favorite people in the news....it is funny when it doesn't work and the readers actually use their own minds

I'm glad for her. She has NEVER shirked her parental responsibilities as did Jon, and had done/continues to do the best she can to support them in a comfortable lifestyle. The kids are fine and will thrive, not like the kids of the Hollywood skanks who hop from one guy to another, expose their genitals to the public and take drugs. I don't see much criticism here for them.

It's not going to hurt the kids and I'm sure now they will be carefully monitored. People claiming to be child advocates might rather concentrate on the THOUSANDS of children who are DYING every day from curable disease and starvation, not the privileged Gosselin kids.

However much of a difficult person Kate is, she works very hard to care for her children. Jon is a toxic sh*thead but Kate's brother Kevin is even worse. He and his sanctimonious wife should shut their pie holes and think about what "family loyalty" means. BEst wishes to Kate and those adorable kids.
