Kate Gosselin Ignores Kids, Hawks Parenting Book
Kate Gosselin had a grand ol' time at her book signing for I Just Want You To Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith and Family at Barnes & Noble Friday.
Heck, getting paid to shill for a book about parenting sure beats actual parenting! What's next, Sarah Palin doing a show about Alaska's natural ... oh, wait.
Gosselin is so busy, she says, she doesn't have time for relationships: "I’m married to my kids and my career... I don’t believe there's anyone out there.”
“I don’t really have time [to date],” she told Access Hollywood. “I don’t believe there is someone who can handle all my baggage that’s too heavy to lift."
Kate Gosselin loves being paid to pretend to be a mom.
On her book tour, Kate also opened up about a tragedy - that she and Jon were actually supposed to have septuplets, but the seventh, a girl, did not survive.
In her book, Kate writes letters to each of her eight children, and mentions the baby in a letter to Alexis, one of the sextuplets. But she rarely talks about it.
"I don't spend much time grieving or dealing with the fact that there was a seventh baby," she said. "It makes you wonder, who would this baby have been?"
A baby who wishes her mom spent more time at home and less seeking stardom, most likely. Just wait until the whole family moves to Hollywood, too.

her passing the 'lost' child off as a girl is just one of the many things that make people doubt her honesty and sincerity. She thinks SHE can make things whatever she wants them to be. And to have the guts to write this book and use the word 'family' in the title is just another example. Lastly, her treatment ON THE AIR and WRITTEN IN HER 'BOOKS' (using that word loosely) of her husband and children denies any claims she makes toward having a Christian attitude (that's in case her wardrobe wasn't a big enough clue for you).

everytime kate is on here or in the media I laugh at how many Kate haters post about it...and how mad ppl are that she is or isn't w/ her kids...nonyabusiness if you ask me, why do you care. there are many other parents out there who are horrible parents...i'm pretty sure Kate's not that. keep on hating.

so what's the difference between rising to fame and being famous from your parents? absolutely nothing. becoming famous has to start somewhere. hard work, charisma and absolutely a lot of luck. yeah. some people have it tough in life. others have it easy. it's the fact of life. whether you admire kate or not really doesn't matter. in the end she's a mom and if you're a parent or guardian of children you have to be able to provide for them. yeah so many people have large families too. but in Kate's case, she rose to fame and has great opportunities at her door. in all honesty, she is seizing those opportunities to provide for her kids and I think many people would do the same. so this book is not selling as quickly as her other books that did. can anyone boast that they could do the same thing? kate is talented and unfortunately, just because she took those opportunities and seized them and now is reaping her rewards, you ppl are full of jealousy and nastiness. and don't feel sorry for

In FIFTEEN days, Kate has been home with the kids for LESS THAN 24 hours. During that period, she took time for 6 hr dance, tanning and a mani/pedi.

I believe that Kate is keeping herself visible while the fire is hot.This is the time that she is being offered opportunities,and is taking advantage of the offers.As the custodial parent of her brood of 8,she is taking the neccessary steps to provide for her children and financial security. Evidently the publishers of her book see her as a profit earning author,and DWTS saw her as someone that would make the audience tune in.Kate is Not going to always have the advantages that she Now have so she is going for the gusto.If her children were being neglected,a voice louder than ours would be sending out smoke signals.So far I have Not seen any.Keep on dancing Kate!!

Give me a break!!! Jon could have found something to do just like Kate did. He could have asked permission to do media events that was comperable to his image on TLC. Instead he wanted to do Vegas parties and other unsavory things. He could have done public speaking gigs like she did and gasp, with his wife. She would not have all the legal debt she is in if it weren't for him dragging on the divorce and now bid for custody for his own financial gain. Jon is not exactly parent of the year. He can't handle scheduling, planning days, etc that goes with the 8 kids. Morgan said that all he did was sleep all day and not do anything. And here is another thought, he could have banked his money like he said he was doing on the Insider. Instead of wasting money on 1st class trips to L.A., France and Hawaii. If it weren't for Kate, the kids would have no trust. This buffoon would have robbed them blind and blamed Kate for it. There has to be someone putting food on the table. And J
