Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy: It's Over!

When they first got together, it seemed like an odd paring between a goofball and a beauty.

Five years later, we're shocked to announce that Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy have broken up.

"I'm so grateful for the years Jim and I shared together," McCarthy said in a statement. "I will continue to be in his daughter's life and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart."

Carrey's rep also confirmed that "Jim and Jenny... are grateful for the many blessings they have shared and wish each other the very best."

Both stars had been married before and always laughed off talk of ever walking down the aisle together. We hope each eventually finds what he/she is looking for.
