Bret Michaels Condition Growing Worse, Prognosis Grave... According to Donald Trump
According to a representative for Bret Michaels, the rocker "remains in ICU under 24 hour surveillance" and "further testing this week will help locate the source of the bleeding"
While not exactly encouraging news about the singer, who suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage last week, this message on BretMichaels.com is at least based on fact and written by someone close to the situation.
Then there's the latest from Donald Trump. Like a Republican politican resorting to scare tactics for attention, the Celebrity Apprentice host tells TMZ that Michaels is in "big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great."
Trump doesn't back this statement up with any medical information, but does at least offer the following about Bret, who is competing on The Donald's reality show:
"He turns out to be an amazing competitor and ultimately that is the thing that could save his life."
We sure hope so.
Meanwhile, a new theory has surfaced about Bret's condition. Because such hemorrhages are typically related to blunt trauma, might this accident have caused the bleed? It certainly seems possible.

This type of bleeding is the result of diabetes as well. Anyone who watches Celebrity Apprentice (or follows Bret's music etc.) knows he's had diabetes from an early age, and that it plays a major role in his life. This is most likely not the result of trauma, but rather his condition.

I have to admit I didn't know much about Bret before Celebrity Apprentice. I am really pulling for him and praying for him and his family. How does Donald Trump giving his opinion when asked make him the bad guy? This story was about Bret Michaels and not Donald Trump. Comments slamming 'The Donald" are inappropriate here and disrespectful to the author of this article and Bret Michaels and his family.

Mr. Trump is correct. This is a very serious situation. Timing is everything. I hope he comes out of this 100% but lets face the fact he could come out never to be himself again. We can only hope and pray he receives a miracle.

I hope Brett gets well soon. It is a shame that the columnist for the article couldn't have written it up without throwing a political jab into the middle of it. It was totally inappropriate to bring politics up at all. The columnist = no class. As for Donald Trump, he needs to shut up and stay out of it. This is real life, not some stupid crappy reality show.
