Doctors Under Investigation in Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy, Corey Haim Deaths

The deaths of Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy and Corey Haim raised questions regarding prescription drugs, and have sparked an investigation, sources report.

The California State Attorney General's Office is investigating a number of doctors who prescribed meds for the aforementioned stars, all of whom died recently.

Several dozen doctors are being investigated for allegedly prescribing medication without medical justification. The A.G. is also looking at their various aliases.

Sources say between 25-30 doctors are being "actively investigated." As we know, Dr. Conrad Murray already faces a manslaughter charge in the Jackson case.

He may not be the last. Two doctors who prescribed drugs to Anna Nicole Smith also face charges in connection with the former Playboy model's 2007 death.

The deaths of these stars beg many questions about the ethics of prescribing certain drugs, and have now prompted a California Attorney General's office investigation.

Continuing this disturbing trend, Haim's death earlier this month has already been linked to a massive drug ring, with a criminal investigation sure to follow.

    I dont feel sorry for such women like Brittany Murphy.Simply drug and prescription medication addict, pure confused girl, because of her horrible behaviour she was even fired in the end.Its nobodys fault just her own.Michael Jackson is different story as his life story is different all those convictions truly huge fame etc etc.But of course he killed himself too.What about doctors so of course they r to blame as they were acting against the law prescribing such dangerous pills in ridiculous amounts and making money of it not thinking of peoples lives.All in all all those famous people dying from those pills drugs etc r having too good lives having everything and themn starting to take a piss at everything and ruining their own lives.Simply wrong people becoming famous as they r not capable to deal with the fame they get.thank u

    After hearing of all these events of deaths among celebs and reading some Hollywood Gossip recently I get the impression that especially people in Tinseltown are all somehow grazy drugaddicts: Hollywood, Fame or struggle and finally rehab and/or death??? Sorry if I'm wrong and I don't want to offend anybody but it's just the impression you get back here in Europe...

    I think Brittany was murdered. Maybe not intentionally by Simon. He just wanted to keep her under his control. I hope they seized his computer as he probably searched for drug combo's. And Simon setting up the fake charity? OMG Why would she marry someone like him. He was gross anyways.
