Deb, i think your nothing but a hypocryt. Jon didnt just leave he cheated and i didnt say she didnt talk to him nicely but thats no excuse. Your whats wrong with this world. Two wrongs dont make a right. Not to mention Jon had no problems with his kids on tv until he wasnt benefiting from it. Why hate her for furthering herself. Its a double standard. Womaen are so jealous of other women instead of encouraging them. Hello how many mothers have nannies. Well just about every hollywood mother does. oh thats right thats ok. Melissa! Pamela Anderson is an actress. She worked her way to fame and fortune. Kate Gosselin is a nobody who used her children to make her rich and famous! Not one of the other shows with multiple children have the controversy Kate's show has. She has paraded her kids all over the country (at the cost of TLC). She has left them home repeatedly wth nannies so she can have plastic surgery or do book signings or go dancing. Her children cannot even go to schools without body guards. They did not ask for this life. Kate is forcing them to live it. They are not in Hollywood! Why have children if you aren't going to let them live as children? She bosses them around like a bunch of little soldiers. Do you see that on any of the other shows? NO!! She belittled Jon so much that he finally had enough and left. I think all you people are idiots. Why is it ok for Pam Anderson to be on this show or an actress? She has kids but thats ok. You're all hypocrits. I am sure there is a female or male celebrity out there you love and they have kids. Get a life people. Why is it ok for the men to have a career but not the women? and excuse me but there are a ton of shows were there are children. Little people big world, the Osbournes, Hogan knows best, 200 kids and counting. Why bash Kate for making money and supporting her whole family. Jon is a loser. Kate did talk to him badly i will agree she has appologized for that. There is no excuse for him to cheat thats whats wrong witht he world. Everyone has an excuse for what they do wrong. She owned up to speaking to him nasty he should own up too.

I feel sorry for the entire family. TLC should take some responsibility for allowing that drama to go on. The publicity was not healthy for her especially. Rather than turn it down, she grabbed the freebes while it provoked her to emasculate her ex repeatedly. We watched for years as he sat on the sofa like a stuffed antelope; we saw the exploitation of little babies.
We shouldn't criticize lack of intelligence, for no one is perfect. However ,for an entire network to capitalize on the vulnerability of a lower middle class couple, already stressed to the max with the decisions they made, is downright wrong. The consequences last a lifetime. Think of those eight little souls,who didn't have a choice.

my oppinion is that this woman needs help. When you have kids not everything is perfect and things don't stay perfect. You don't treat your spouse the way she did and expect them to stay true to you! She looks great and I hope she does well, but she needs to figure out that what she has done is not the real world and not everything revolves around "Kate". I have never seen kids misbehave and fight and cry like hers did on the show - didn't that give her a clue that something was wrong! You don't yell and scream at children like she did (and probably still does), they are children not adults who should know how to act!

Kate used her children to make money and that is just wrong. She sold their lives and made the statement that she owed people the right to watch her children grow. May I ask why? She acts like everyone is just so in love with her kids, that's not true. My grandchildren are a whole lot cuter than her kids, so get over yourself Kate Gosselin, the only reason people watched is the same reason they go to the freak show at the circus.

Kate should be home wth her children. Have the children not already gone through enough? They have been paraded around in front of the cameras like some sort o freak show since they were babies, now their parents have split, they are harraased by paparrazzi and have had their mother running all over the country for book signings and anything else she can get her face in front of a camera for. She is more worried about being seen in public and having plastic surgery and makig money for herself, then she is for taking care of the children that she chose to bring into this world. She is a sorry excuse for a mother.

Kate is a money whore. That's all she is. Jon was right, Jon and Kate plus 8 was intrusive. We don't really know anything about Jon and Kate just a bunch of made up stuff. I remember what Ozzie Osborne looked like in the middle of the taping of the Osbornes and he was a zombie. I don't think kids should be subjected to all that even if it is a lot of money. Kate and Jon both need to get real jobs.

georgi, Kate was the one who PURSUED JON. She chased him, why is only anyone's guess. She has no dignity nor morals. She has been seen slapping and beating her kids on video. She still has a wooden spoon on the door pocket of the Sprinter to threaten the kids with. She is shown on video denying Mady a drink of water while taking one for herself and then not allowing any for Mady.
Jon did all the grunt work. When one of the little ones was screaming in pain in the furniture store from constipation that "nurse" Kate didn't acknowledge, it was Jon who took the boy out to the car and with a plastic bag over hid hand dislodged the bowel.
Kate is an unfit mother. What mother puts sick and vomiting children on a blanket on the laundry room floor with the appliances running because it is easier on her? One of the little girls forced herself to vomit for two years to get attention.
Kate has sold her kids' dignity over and over. She has sold photos of them in books
