the movie was alright, but ms. miley was HORRIBLE in it. she needs acting lessons asap. BUT, she IS laughing all the way to the bank-- horribly bad actress or not, so good for her on that. any of us would do the same thing given the chance to make the kind of money she is making right now.

I saw the movie and honestly at the beginning I thought it was terrible. (Just like Mileys acting) There wasn't much to it. Than as the story began to unfold it became much better. (Just like Mileys acting) Sure Miley isnt the best actress, but she is still learning. Overall I think she did a good job. Hopefully she will do better in Wings.

i went to see dah movie disz friday n it was pretty good, i cried dah message is really good n i mean yes miley can act really good n so can liam but wen i saw dah trailer i excepted a little more out of dah moviee.! n i dink i liked disz one way better den dah HM movie dah HM was lame n is actually for little girlsz no offense but dah last song actually teached me a good leason! i loved dah movie so muchn idk y critics r sayin dat abut miley let her live her own life n stop all dah critizing not only with her but with all dah stars in hollywood!

First of all @Mrs. Mom---there are ways to say things and there are prim proper 'schoolmarm' ways to go about them...Those ways are far to stuffy for me. I took my 6th grade daughter to see it....don't waste your money! Miley Cyrus can't act and everything the critics are saying is very true. My daughter Katelynn said she, "liked the HM movie better." She really did not like this one. However, my money was not wasted for I had a lovely day w/my little "baby" girl.
And to Hollywood, YOU HAVE SOME SERIOUS MENTAL ISSUES, AND ARE IN NEED OF SOME SERIOUS SPELLING AND GRAMMAR LESSONS. PLUS YOU ARE FULL OF BS!

It's quite sad to see how people are saying this movie is so bad simply because they don't like Miley. You should give the movie a chance and watch it from an unbiased perspective, and then hopefully you can appreciate this movie for what it truly is.

She can't help her looks; although she is homely she isn't ugly. She definitely can't act. It's a pity that Vanessa or Amanda or one of the pretty, talented young ladies wasn't chosen for the lead for Sparks work.

I haven't seen the movie and have no desire to see it, just the fact that Miley Cyrus is in it is enough to make me want to not watch it. I am so tired of Hollywood casting non actors, when there are plenty of actors qualified for the parts. It has to be really tough on those people knowing that they could have done it so much better, if only hollywood would get their heads out of their asses and give us quality motion pictures and quality performances, instead, they give us garbage and make millions off of it.

Gift from God? ROFL. This girl can't act, her music is simply HORRIBLE. She's overrated and as a dude I don't see how people could be attracted to her, really she's more on the ugly side. She doesn't make a good role model either. People grow up and stop worshiping celebrities and for God's sake listen to some GOOD music, not just want the media makes you think is good. Silly pre-teens and teens go ape shit over the dumbest crap, Jonas Bros, Taylor Swift, ridiculous MTV shows and dramas. I mean who else actually watches this ish? you r sooooooooooo right Hollywood.....it really is a great movie...and i loved her performance in it....this truly opened up a whole new dimension in her....i'm sure people who r unbiased towards her will love it....its just the haters that will hate it....anyway, i hope to see her in more movies like this....

I actually taught 2(yes! 2!) Classic Cinema Classes(a beginner,and an advanced)for 5-YEARS! With ALL 10 Certificates to Prove-it,and I'm tellin' you---THEY(the Critics)don't know their asses from a-hole-in-the-ground! The movie 'LAST SONG' is PHENOMENAL!! I honestly don't know why critics are being so harsh on this film and Miley! They keep comparing her to Britney Spears and I do see a similarity..(when Britney did Crossroads and now Miley's doing The Last Song). I thought the movie was GREAT, I have to say that the boy who played Jonah her little brother, had better acting then her and I would cry more when he would cry. We all know Miley needs a little work on acting, but c'mon this is her FIRST big movie after coming out of Disney..please people give her a break. It actually really wasn't that bad..and i recommend people to go see it. She's trying to break out of the little kid age range because she's BECOMING an adult..I'm close to her age and I know what she's going through..she's trying to GROW UP...soo parent's chill out..the same things going to happen to your precious little kids..wether you like it or not:) Alright that's all.

Finally!! People are starting to see throught this girl. I have 3 girls at home who LOVE her. I always thought she was a girl with zero talent and I have never liked my girls watching Hannah Montana because she is rude to her father....I have recently stopped buying anything that has her name on it and I have told my girls that she's not a positive role model for them. Why does Disney continue to support this girl???

This was probably one of the worst movies I have seen. No substance, and the only thing I was staring at was hot boy (Liam) with his shirt off, and Mileys "not so straight teeth" (seriously whats up with that she has all this money and she wont fix that damn tooth). The storyline was horrible, they fall in love probably in like 4 days. It was horrible and I thought I was going to enjoy it but it "SUCKED"!!! I felt terrible but I could not help but laugh everytime they zoomed into Miley's face. She maintained this horrible grouchy look throughout the movie, and I could not help but laugh. Well the only if I were anyone to go see this movie, would be to see Liam (THE HOT DUDE) without his shirt off. Let me tell you his is SEXY!!

but i kinda disagree with the critics....even tho i havent seen the movie yet, i've seen all the trailors and teasers....and i liked her acting in every one of them.....i know those critics do actually know what they r doing.....so they must be right....but anyway, miley will improve a lot for sure.....
right now i'm excited abt the movie....

I just saw it and I agree with everything the critics said. The best acting of the movie was the 10 year old boy who played Jonah. I have to say as a writer Sparks is amazing, especially with the book The Last Song. Not every book he writes needs to be made into a crappy film version (even though he was a write of the screenplay the movie still sucked and wasn't true to the book at all.) The Notebook and a Walk to Remember might be the only good ones he could produce
