American Idol Sets Final 12, Sends Four Packing
American Idol revealed its 12 season nine finalists last night, eliminating four contestants in the process.
Two of those eliminations were easy to see coming: We'd have gone with Paige Miles and Tim Urban instead, but it's hard to argue with viewers sending Katelyn Epperly (the weakest of this season's singer/songwriters) and Todrick Hall (more of a dancer than a singer) home.
But Lilly Scott and Alex Lambert? Wow. The lessons future contestants can take from these semifinalists would be: don't only sing songs from previous decades; and get over your stage fright.
We wish all booted contestants the best, but it's now time to focus on those remaining. We're not down to the top 12, and we've listed them below, from most likely to win to least likely...

i like tim because he is cute, but i always feel sad whenever i think that alex lambert was sent home and tim stays?
seriously the show is not for good looking people. it is for talented people with a very great voice
so maybe tim urban should just take ellen's advice.
to the girl's,
yeah i am very sad that lily goes home
she is unique, no one on american idol ever can be compared to her voice i would like katie stevens to go home than lily.

I would have kept Lilly Scott who is great and Alex Lambert who has a pretty good voice. I would have left out the african american with the curly hair; sorry forgot her name, but she sings terribly. The other blond haired girl who got the boot could also go as far as I'm concerned, nothing special about that voice and I didn't really like her personality. Like Didi's voice as well. I would have left out Tim Urban, eeeeyuckkk... that guy goes off tune so many times it's not funny and he can't sing and he doesn't have air half the time... oh well someone to kick off first I guess... But no way Lilly Scott deserved to go home, no way, they are ridiculous to let that happen. Someone better get that girl a contract right away because i loved her voice. Simon do something! She seems to think only indie fans would like her...? I'm over fifty and i loved her voice. Just because people are older doesn't mean they don't appreciate a good voice. So NOT a Didi fan. I feel like there are a million of her out there. I wanted Miss Epperly over Paige. Paige totally bombed on one of the best songs ever. Siobhan is good but not great, her voice is all over the place but she has good range.

I like Lacey, her voice and style but not to win. I love Didi's voice.
