Adam Lambert to Perform at GLAAD Awards
by Free Britney at .Adam Lambert is scheduled to perform at the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards, to be held in Los Angeles on April 17. The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation has tapped the American Idol runner-up for one of its biggest annual events.
Aside from Adam Lambert, many big names will also be on hand.
At the ceremony, Wanda Sykes will be presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, given to an openly lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender professional who has made a significant difference in promoting equal rights for the LGBT community.
Drew Barrymore will be honored with the Vanguard Award, after portraying the lesbian daughter of a widower (Robert De Niro) in the 2009 film Everybody’s Fine and joining public protests when the California Supreme Court upheld Proposition 8.
Other guests and presenters scheduled to attend include the Glee cast, Tom Ford (A Single Man), Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy), Jason Lewis (Brothers & Sisters), and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family), plus Chaz Bono, and Benjamin Bratt (La Mission).
Also appearing will be Clementine Ford (The L Word) and from the reality TV universe, the incredible Countess LuAnn de Lesseps (Real Housewives of New York City).
Sounds like an entertaining, attractive roster.

I think that adam should go the do a performance at the GLADD Award.... Plus, He is one of the finnest gay guy i would love to met in person.
I totally agree with Sam-- GLAAD didn't back him up one bit with that ridiculous AMA controversy.....but Adam has CLASS and accepted because he is one heck of a gentleman..what a husband/dad he would make...oh well maybe in another life! adam has taught my entire family what it means to love and respect our neighbors. And foremost he is insanely TALENTED.....his voice in person just lifts you up up and away. I wish I could see him more often....he is fierce , bold and a true artist. GLAAD does not realize how lucky they are to have him. And I am so glad my children look up to him......he's an excellent role model.
