I know you guys lahv Adam, but this original source is BS.
He admitted to drugs in RS aaaages ago and also on Chelsea Lately. People take bits and pieces and blow them out of proportion and context... And it won't stop.
What about him performing at Fantasy Springs? Meeting an 89-year old woman? etcetc.. At least thats all legit.

There is no such thing as "recreational drugs"...rotfl...There is drug abuse, which is using drugs illegaly and/or for the purpose of getting off or fucked up, and there is medicinal use. this tool is condoning drug abuse and people think it is cool and alright?!?!? This guy is a dumbass...and anyone that considers this ass "classy" and comparable to the likes of Kurt Cobain, Elvis & Michael Jackson is a dumbass, too!! This stupid comparison is based on drug use, the use that this idiot brags about probably just for attention...'cuz he is fading fast; as, he has nowhere near the talent and catalog these troubled, musical genius' had. I love Adam's talent,regardless of what he does recreationally,having said that, I have seen a lot of lives and potential wiped out by drug usage, would not want to see that happen to someone with so much phenomenal talent, or anyone at all for that matter.

This is all just publicity hype. He needs to keep his name in the media especially now since he's going international. Did he really kiss Kesha? Where are the pictures? I'm guessing they planned that news story together. Is he sexually curious about women? Really? As clear as he was about being gay and not bi, I doubt it. 99% of his fans are women. It's not hard to figure out. I think Adam's problem is he's a really nice guy so he's claiming all this controversy, lacking-in-PC opinions for publicity, but then states he doesn't advocate anything. And he was misquoted! That's very convenient. It's all publicity hype. He's trying to promote himself as the bad boy of rock and roll to keep his name in the news. Too bad. It just shows he doesn't have much confidence in his singing ability or music.
FYI, bad parents always say their kids came out great without giving any details on how messed up they really are. They are also the first ones to complain to schools that they aren't doing their

I'm 19 and I never did any drugs, and I don't want too. Not every kid is doing drugs, But the media is making it out to be. I'm an Adam Supporter, But some things he doesn't need to say. Everyone has different parenting styles, what works for your family, might not work for someone else. I don't think parents are too conservative when it comes to drugs. Look at Kurt Cobain, Elvis and Michael Jackson. They were so gifted but drugs aided them to an early death.

I'm getting tired of hearing his confessions and his opinions quickly followed by the contradiction "I don't promote..." "I don't advocate..." As a public figure, what the hell does the think he's doing? He's a 28 year old arrogant teenager who has yet to grow up and doing everything possible to get attention. Then he complains about the controversial attention he's getting when he'd rather focus on the music. Yeah, right. For those of you who need to relive the 1970s, have fun, but promoting alcoholism and drug use is so ignorantly outdated. It would be nice if he'd concentrate on his talent instead of being a publicity whore.

Some'recreational' but never heavy drugs and years back-so stop trying to turn people against Adam- bigotry is the conxciousness of a hate filled human-nothing to be proud of. As for his being bi-curious, that info is a year old-why are you still bringing it up? And, wrong, wrong wrong about the UK not being familiar w Adam, they love him there and will probably try to steal him from us- Hope hie meets Elton John and Dave Bowie, meets w brian Mays of Queen and stops by Irealnd & meets w "Muse" and then a quick hop to Germany to mee with Bill Kailick of Toyko Hotel. he'll have fun. And be away from the vicious stupid jealous hollywood bloggers.

ooh i admire him more...never done drugs (i can make up my own mind thanks) but #1 he's just being honest about his past experiences, #2 if he hadn't dropped acid at burning man he might never have had a spiritual experience that prompted him to try out for idol, and then i might not be hearing his kickass music on a regular basis which would make me quite sad

Practically everyone has experimented with some sort of substance or taken their spouses pill. Get over it. Lambert is just saying it out loud, is all. Since we are the sum total of our experiences, I like Lambert just fine the way he is and I wouldn't change a thing, except to be able to get to know him like family. Wish he lived right next door! Keep making music, Adam!

He's being honest. Sounds like it didn't get very serious for him because he has become focused on his music career. About the quote regarding parents are too conservative in the original article, I believe when he has children his perspective will change. For now, he is young and talented and pursuing his dreams. I like Adam Lambert. He is an extremely gifted singer and I hope he stays focused and gives us beautiful music for many, many years to come.

Let me guess, so if your child watches a Mel Gibson movie, he is destined to cheat on his spouse because Gibson had an affair while he was married. Um, I don't think so. Not very logical. Adam's just an outspoken, liberal kind of guy who happens to also be an amazing talent. Stop taking everything he says so seriously, he isn't your preacher.

Why can't you talk about Adam's amazing solo concert in Fantasy Springs last week??????? All the talk about drug use and women is really OLD news but as long as you keep talking about Adam then I shouldn't be complaining!!!!
Drugs have been around since the Roman times so it's not uncommon for many, including myself, to have tried it once or twice. No biggie here cause I am not a drug addict!

this is sooo old. Read the Rolling Stone he was in the cover of last June. Kind of weird how internet gossip sites just re-write month old news and try to act like it's new. Time for some new info people!

In the original article he stated that parents are too conservative. Give me a break. I'm one of the lucky ones who had kids doing drugs to my knowledge over 10 years ago. They turned out all right. Tell your crap to the millions raising grand-kids whose children got messed up Adam. You are a loser with a capital L.
