Whitney had been out of circulation for years. At the urging of Clive Davis, and people that meant(her)well encouraged her to come out of semi-retirement and to utilize her gift of song. This is not
my favorite version of Dolly Parton's song.In time, the dust in Whitney's throat will settle, and "I will always love you" will be the signature song that we all fell in love with.Whitney might be taking a slow climb back up the ladder, but there is room for her at the top of it (again).
Sounded good to me.
@Gary, Yeah, you mentioned the face lift - I noticed that too. It looks like a traditional face-pull and tuck behind the ears but didn't quite work.
Okay... yes Mr.Agent she's older and so is Aretha Franklin( weight and all), Patti Labelle, Cher, Bette Milder etc.but they can still sing! She looks older than all the mention... Whitney need to go back home and stop pretending she's drug free.... If she had truly stopped doing drugs and smoking cigaretts her voice wold be a lot better... she's in denial of her problems, blaming Bobby Brown and other people. She need to take another year off and come back, the face lift has her looking much older also!
"..a back up singer actually sung the high parts"
Well spotted. She lip synched to the backing singers voice! May have fooled some in the audience.
