Michael Blosil, Son of Marie Osmond, Commits Suicide
Tragedy has struck the Osmond family.
Michael Blosil, the son of Marie Osmond, committed suicide last night. The trouble teen, who left a suicide note, jumped from his Los Angeles apartment building around 9 p.m.
Entertainment Tonight confirmed the news and quoted Donny Osmond as saying: "Please pray for my sister and her family," while Marie recently released a statement that reads:
"My son Michael is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues. As his mother, I couldn't be more proud of him. The press and public have always been kind and gracious in the past, and I know they will continue to respect our privacy during this time."
Michael was one of Marie's eight kids. He reportedly suffered "severe depression" throughout his life, insiders say, and entered a rehab facility in 2007 at age 16.
Marie and Donny have canceled their Las Vegas show tonight, of course, and there's no word on when they might return to the stage. Our thoughts our with their loved ones.

to marie osmond and family, i hope your hearts heal with the grace of god, your and amazing mother who took on alot of kids that perhaps would not have had a mother, and sometimes thats how it works when theres depression that can,t be fixed , and thats sad , but never forget all the you did give, and for that he,s at peace . your and amazing women and a survivor gods bless you and all your children ,,,,,,,,we love you marie!......

Dear Marie i know it's not quite the same but i lost my 3 month old grandaughter to 'cot death' so i feel the hurt your going through, the loss of a child is the worst thing u can experience, my thoughts are with u all at this sad time, may god keep u safe x x

I don't know who kevin is but what a cruel thing for anyone to say, know matter how you feel about the Osmonds they deserve our prayers and love at this time. Kevin, I pray God will have mercy on your soul

i wish the whole osmond family would jump from a window , he probaly killed himself when he found out donnie was his real dad

I was talking to my childhood friend about You and Donny yesterday, she is sending me a book on your Life story, then minutes later we heard of this tragedy, Oh Marie Our hearts are broken for you , sending many prayers and love your way.

Having experienced losing a family member to suicide, I have deep sympathy for Marie and her family. She can be comforted by the fact that Michael won't suffer anymore and he is at peace, in heaven with his grandparents.
