Middle School Student Earns Detention For "That's What She Said" Comeback

by at . Comments

Michael Scott would be proud of Dalton Duncan.

A photo of a detention notice issued to the latter, a middle school student, has been making the rounds online, and let's just say the kid knows The Office quotes.

According to the report, a student made the (innocent) comment "you need to push it in further." The offender's reply: "That's what she said!" Bam! Never gets old!

Well played, Dalton. Well. Played.

Sure, it's rude, but you have to credit the kid's sense of humor. All we have to say to the reader that emailed us this story: Thanks for putting it in our box!

Someone? Anyone?

... does anyone else see the realization that the teacher has a stick up her @$$.. it's teacher's like those that just turn nice kids into rebellious one's.. it was either a)laugh at the joke and maybe(at most) explain the tolerance level in her class or b) push the stick in further and give the kid a hard time for something that she should expect from a pubescent tween boy at their age. they tell kids to grow up but tha is not one way to handle it... she should have expected it... I'd have saved the slip to flaunt as well, wouldn't you?

I would expel the little smart ass for liking that overdone, not funny sitcom.

Kid: fail for being gross 13 year old boy
Teacher: fail for being lame enough to fill out this slip
Parents: fail for circulating this slip and encouraging your kid to grow up to be a moron
