Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie: Engaged!

Man, this makes us feel old.

Hillary Duff, who we first started to follow in 2001 when she was a 14-year old Lizzie McGuire, is engaged. Long-time boyfriend, and Edmonton Oilers star, Mike Comrie popped the question to the actress in Maui this week.

This is actually the second accepted proposal between a singer and hockey player in the last couple months: Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher got engaged in late December.

Duff was most recently seen on the small screen during a six-episode arc on Gossip Girl.

We wish her and Comrie a happy, healthy life together!

    WELL FROM MY PERSPECTIVE.. I THINK THEY HAD THE NEED TO GET ENGAGED JUS CAUSE THE NEWS OF HER EX JOEL MADDED GETN ENGAGED TO NICHOLE RICHIE BROKE OUT. SINCE THEN EVERY 1 FORGOT ABOUT (HILARY) ND FOCUSED ON NICHOLE ND JOEL.. I THINK ITS A WAY OF TELLIN EM ITS PAYBACK THAT SHE TOO CAN DO THE SAME ND TURN THE TABLES
