What's going on here? The previous thread with the explicit homophobic comments has been edited.
Comments TO "Sandy" against her homophobic diatribes have been removed.
Comments that were explicit and insulting BY "Sandy" were left in tact.
This blogger is either a complete idiot or has some sick sense or humor or is a sock puppet trolling her own site it seems.

Seriously, I've seen the scans from the UK magazine where he said this. HE SAID IT. It's a bit ridiculous to claim he was misquoted when the words are there, plain as day.
Adam is a celebrity now. He needs to learn that everything he says is fodder for the press. Hopefully he wises up. But his fans won't. They're rabid and they always will be. He'd better be careful that they don't start turning people off - especially the people who choose to write about him positively. It seems more and more often these days that even people who are FANS and have proven it through months of positive articles aren't allowed to question anything he does as less than perfect. Take a chill pill. Adam's human, he's going to do stupid things and people are going to call him out on it. He's already had to apologize for his overzealous fans numerous times - that says a lot. Thank you! for this. I'm a total fan but tend to stay away from commenting on the internet about him because of the weird protective mothering thing so many of his fans do. I love the guy, but I like for faults like this, for the things that get others upset. And if I mention any of them, *gasp*, I get "How dare you", "how can you be a fan", "you're going to give people the wrong impression". When in reality the man is multidimensional and no more perfect than any of us.
Whether he made that quote or not, I strongly suspect that it is how he feels. Heck, its how I feel. SuBo singing Wild Horses IS an abomination. But I am thrilled for her on a personal level. It's nice to see good things happen for her. Doesn't mean any of us are required to like her music. I really don't get what the upset is over the quote. But whatever. I don't expect Adam and SuBo to have much of an overlapping fan base anyway.

Well, you are media and you are also open to the public and so things like this are part and parcel of your work. This is a fan thing, just as other fan things have happened before Adam lambert's. Why do I feel I've been scolded? Bottomline is that Adam is entitled to express his opinion. He didn't say she had a nice voice but lacked real talent. I would. He called her album terrible. This is his opinion, and believe it or not HollywoodGossip, I came to the same conclusion way before I heard Adam's comment. And somehow, I don't think I'm alone on that opinion.
Adam is a work in progress and soon--very soon--he'll become the robot always saying the "right thing" and lose all his honesty of expression. Don't worry Hollywood Gossip, it's coming. Yes, he's in the public limelight, so everything he says--or doesn't say--gets amplified. Why don't you stick to Brad and Angie and see if you can facilitate their divorce!!
And don't fuss at your readers for expressing their opinion. That is just dumb. You want Adam fans to bow down and kiss your feet for saying good things about him and not supporting homophobic behavior. Well, good for you and welcome to the 21st century.

I am a fan of ADAM's but I am not a Glambert. You may refer to me as a Glambert if you wish. I see nothing wrong in being called a GLAMBERT .. IMO it is a meshing of two other words .. Glam & Lambert ... ADAM said he likes Glam Rock ... his last name is LAMBERT so the fans simply meshed the two into one and called themselves GLAMBERTS. Not all ADAM's fans are Glamberts ... the ones from UK call themselves LAMBRITS .. the ones from Canada something else, etc. My point is that when people refer to the Glamberts they make it sound like being a Glambert is the worst thing ... like being called a dirty name. WHY?? Because we LOVE & ADMIRE ADAM and believe in his TALENT & CARING HEART? Or is it because we voice our PRIDE to be his fans? Are we supposed to be SILENT fans so that we don't get BASHED & RIDICULED? Are we not supposed to request his music on the radio? i think the problem is really two fold. first, that because there are haters in this mix (and not bec they dislike a song or his voice), sensitivities as well as defenses are heightened when lambert is attacked or criticized. (in this case, if he actually said he was misquoted, i believe there is something to that -- and that there r reasons he is not clarifying further.) second -- the way this story was picked up around the world (is this even a story? really?), and the tone and distortion in the way articles were titled -- well, actually you're right. this is what gossip rags do: they inflame. i think the fear is that too much inflammation might prove dangerous for this artist.

BRAVO! As much as I hate that Adam's words may have been twisted he's a big boy and can take up for himself on this issue should he feel it necessary. He said he was misquoted and that's fine by me and even IF he had said exactly what was quoted so what? Plenty of people have said his album is terrible, it's an opinion.
I wish Adam's most ardent defenders would dial it back about 10 notches. Adam has been living in WEHO for 8 years, he's used to taking care of himself and he's a grown man. He's got a mama already and doesn't need a fandom full of them at this point.
Him saying SuBo's album is terrible won't ruin his career so relax and just enjoy Adam. He's gonna cause a stir no matter what he does. it's part of the fun of following him.

I've been watching Adam since he played Fiyaro in Wicked, years ago. When I saw him on idol last year, I already knew what was going to happen. All of those points are true, everyone has an opinion.
BUT, I have an opinion of my own. And I expect critisism for this, although I do not wish to offend anyone: Adam Lambert (to me) is the new Michael Jackson.
Now I know that's a tad extreme, but I loved Michael, and there will never be a man such as him. But Adam come quite close. I've online ACCTUALLY communicated with Adam twice, and they were very short conversations about nothing of importance.
And even though, I'm in no way special ("because I talked to THE Adam Lambert") I feel that Adam doesn't want to be praised, nor protected. Merely accepted for the person he is. He is an honest, beautiful man, and I love him with all my being. In a friendship way of course.
