Josh, Jake, he's strong, he'll pull through. Be strong for him. He's strong and I don't believe in God, but I believe in strength and the love of life. Be strong for him boys, and just talk to him, he can hear you.

(Just a correction - Captain Phil did not 'fall into a coma' - the coma was induced by the surgeons following 12 hours of brain surgery to reduce dangerous swelling. Induced coma may be considered a 'better' thing, if that's at all possible).

There's a big difference between falling into a coma and being in a medically-induced coma. Our thoughts and prayers are with Phil and his family.

i just heard about captain phil harris in the newspaper please get well soon captain harris. i had the great honor of meeting him in lakeport california at bruno's food store. thankyou so much for signing your picture for me it has meant alot to me. hang in there hope to see you back on tv soon. i love your show. your fan laura

I'm sure he'll pull through. He always has in the past. He'll prove once again that he is so incredibly tough. My mom and I watch the show sometimes and he is our favorite captain.
