Bristol Palin is a horrible "spokeswoman" for teen pregnancy in that her mother is rich.
Most pregnant teenagers don't have all of that money and security to fall back on and usually severely damage their future in the process.
However, Bristol seems to have it made in the shade in that she doesn't necessarily have to go through the financial hardships of other teen mothers and their families.
An ideal "spokeswoman" would be someone who went through the tremendous hardships without coming from a "privileged" family. Someone that when other teenagers look at her they think, "I hope that I don't turn out like her".
Instead, Bristol is all smiles while her nanny changes her child's diaper.
I'm with you writers on this - utter hypocrisy.

The fact that we are even speaking of this family shows how much America has "Dumbed Down."
There are too many idiots having children, while intelligent people are choosing to control their birthrate, or optioning to not have children at all. It creates an imbalance in the world that is wreaking havoc.

good points. she can do what she wants, but to call it education as if it were some sort of public service announcement is just misleading.
