When Susan Boyle is reported as having sung into a broom at the airport and been reprimanded for being rowdy, having shown her underwear during recordings of performances, sticking two fingers up to an audience member, having been seen sucking her thumb after a performance ................ and so on and so forth ................ her fans immediately jump in to say the reports are untrue / inaccurate / exaggerated / malicious / duplicitous / insert denial of your choice.
It amazes me therefore how ready so many of them are to accept anything that anyone else is quoted as saying about her as gospel and how quick they are to stick the boot in to the supposed perpetrator of the alleged statements. This isn't the first time this has happened.
If you expect Susan to be accepted as "innocent until proven guilty" , at least be prepared to give others the benefit of the doubt too.

This is so ridiculous. What is the point of printing misquoted comments. The story should be how irresponsible the group was that misquoted Adam rather than a rehashing and chastising Adam for something he didn't say.

First and foremost I think the headline is hilarious "Adam Lambert Rips Into Susan Boyle". WOW! Can it get any more dramatic than this? Heaven forbid! But you know what, whether he did or didn't the writer attained just what they were looking for.....
"much ado about nothing". Give me a break. I enjoy both Susan and Adam's music - both worlds apart from each other. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and just because it's Adam, everyone has to dissect every syllable the guy spits out of his mouth. I have, within the last year, seen it happen many times when Adam has been made to appear as vile and dispictable for words and/or actions and, in the end, when I've taken the time to research the accusations, I have found them to be false and/or extremely misleading all for the sole purpose of the differenct factions of the media to draw attention to their own agendas (increasing their viewership, sales, etc.).

Anyone who believes this crap will believe anything. Seriously, this is ridiculous and should only be of interest to the bashers and feed their unquenchable thirst for anything negative about sweet Adam Lambert.
Adam really needs to stop being so nice to the media. He should stop giving interviews that will be twisted into viral lies which will sweep the net with controversy.
The most appalling thing is that this is a gay magazine. How hateful can they be? The Brits are known for being extremely hateful in their rags so, this is the norm for them.

Adam Lambert has been supportive and complimentary toward every artists he has ever spoken of. He goes out of his way to praise his fellow artists and musicians. He mentions and promotes other peoples albums on twitter daily. He supports numerous charities and causes, but it is not enough. He still gets crucified by anyone in the press who needs hits on a site or readers for whatever rag they work for. I beleive the words of a man who has set a good example instead of gossip rags whos reputations are made on twisting the truth and slandering people for money. You go Adam.

We think "for_real_tho" is a crazy, uneducated loon -- but he/she almost seems the most reasonable among all the comments here! Has anyone actually read our article? Or past articles we've written on Lambert?
We adore the singer, and we point out that he didn't say this about Boyle without laughing. We also acknowledge he was misquoted.
But we're also a bit critical b/c he should have known how the critique would play in the press. It really is okay, people, to be critical of your favorite singer sometimes. Is Adam a saint? We hate to break it to you: NO. He'd gladly agree.
He's a normal person that may say dumb things sometimes and it's okay to call him out when he does. Adam would most definitely tell everyone going crazy here: RELAX.

February 24th, 2010 10:27 AM
I really don't think these words belong to Adam. Can you imagine Adam Lambert saying "crying with laughter"? Does anyone in America use that phrase? Sounds like a British term to me, so not a quote from Adam. He said he was misquoted and I believe him. Adam doesn't need to put anyone down to make himself look better. He has his fans..Subo has hers. "Apples and oranges"..now that is an Adam quote.

I think Adam and his music are fantastic, regardless of his personal opinion of someone else's song. That cover of Wild Horses wasn't my cup of tea either, but so what! She seems like a nice lady, so like Adam, I wish her well. It's impressive that so many people care so much what he thinks.

So someone else trying to make headlines out of their own byline will misquote or take the meaning far beyond the actual words.
Personally I have never heard Adam say a mean word, however when asked his opinion he doesn't lie. If he doesn't like the song or the disk he'll say so - wouldn't you? Doesn't he have a right to state an opinion without it being a "bashing". Please don't insult us, Adam or Susan Boyle.
I personally found Susan's CD boring because they played the whole thing safe to appeal to mainstream. So the vanilla crowd can enjoy - great - but don't make up lies or slant words of this very kind human being.
Grow up - get some balls and do the right thing - apologize to Adam for twisting the spirit of the words.

Do you just want to bring more haters toward to Adam who is actually a very nice and beautiful person who cares a great deal of his fellow idols? Haters, you need to stop bashing him. your "opinions" are judgemental and bull sh*t. Leave him along already, haters! Look at what he did for school children! Look at what he did/said to promote his fellow idols! If you don't have any nice thing to say about him, then just don't say anything cuz I don't want to hear your bull sh*t! Adam is a beautiful person and an awesome srtist. Get over it and grow up, haters! Your indecent intention won't go anywhere!

Adam Lambert entered a contest to show America what he had to offer. He accomplished that. He wanted to make a record. He accomplished that. He is happy and he accomplished that.
