Jason Mesnick, Molly Malaney to Wed in Bachelor Special This March

by at . Comments

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, one of the most controversial (and successful) couples in the history of The Bachelor, are getting married in just over a month.

ABC will be televising it in a two-hour special.

Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre and Michael Buble

The Bachelor: Jason and Molly's Wedding, will air Monday, March 8. We're fairly sure that's one week after the current season finale, which would make sense.

The big wedding special for Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney will also show the bride's dress fitting, planning for the day, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc.

Past participants of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will be on hand, which probably goes with the territory when Mike Fleiss gets to plan your nuptials.

The Bachelor's 0-13 marriage steak is about to come to an end! Well, technically not, as Molly Malaney didn't receive Jason Mesnick's final rose ... but close enough!

The Bachelor wedding is only the second such event in the franchise's 19 seasons. The Bachelorette star Trista Rehn married Ryan Sutter on TV in 2003.

Jason proposed to Molly Malaney in New Zealand, the site of the infamous March 2009 season finale where he initially chose Melissa Rycroft instead of her.

He soon broke up with Melissa and asked Molly for another chance on the After the Final Rose special. She said yes, and they got engaged in October.

Mesnick first became a franchise fixture as runner-up on DeAnna Pappas' edition of The Bachelorette. He then became The Bachelor's first single dad.

Hooray and great news. Any rational, sane adult can attest to the fact that this couple is truly in love and gave us a real-world type of love story....not some fairy tale you like to read about in chick books or movies. They deserve everything that comes their way. Millions will watch. Ratings will be high. All those that say they won't watch, four words: the he_l you won't. hahaha. You'll watch alright. You won't be able to stay away. Then again, you negative nellies are probably still in high school, and may have a big test to study for. Best get to it. From your attitudes, you're going to need help getting along in life.

For all of you who would rather throw the couple "under the bus" ... get over it! Melissa did!!! Now, congratulations to the couple, if they are happy and this is their choice then God bless and many happy years to come!!! I WILL be watching the show for HAPPY moments!

i think this is a terrible mistake to have this wedding on tv.
i will not watch the show or any other of the batchelor. what you
did to melissa was horrible and i think jason is a big fake. molly and he deserve each other but not a wedding on tv.

Congratulation.... they made the best choice for the... wishing you both the best

If this was the only program on the air that I could watch I wouldn't watch it. I think Jason is a loser. I wouldn't trust him to make a decision and stick with it. As for Molly, I agree with the previous poster that she has no self-respect. Melissa is the one that came out of this whole situation on top. She is so deserving of the success that she is having. The best thing that happened to her was Jason moving on to Molly.

Wow you guys are brutal... So you've never needed a second chance to right a wrong? You've never made a bad choice that you wished you could take back but never had the balls to set straight? Impressive if that's the case....Things happen for a reason and certainly Melissa can attest to being right where she should be...I wish them all the best....getting bitch slapped by the media after everything unraveled is good enough testament to me...that they just might make it.

I'm not going to watch this one either. Jason is too full of himself and Molly has no self-respect. Why would she marry him after he chose Melissa first? I'd be afraid that he would wake up the day after their wedding and think he made another mistake. All of this after he was supposedly devasted by DeAnna-in relatively a short period of time. Poor Ty.

I will not watch this one, after what he did to Melissa
and then turn this girl down how can she marry a guy like this
he is a little strange anyways. Also the bachelor is getting
bad this new guy choices are dead wrong you can tell he will
probably end up with none of them.
So I will watch another Channel

The Bachelor Quotes

There’s still a lot of growing to do in our relationship. We will not tie the knot until I am mentally and physically prepared as well as Matt.

Shayne Lamas

It was a fairytale proposal like I’ve always dreamed about. I forgot that there [were] cameras around. In that moment, it was just Matt and I and it was the most amazing moment of my entire life.
