He lost 245 pounds. Now he's gained a fiancee.

The famed Subway sandwich chain spokesperson popped the question to his girlfriend of one year, Katie McLaughlin, a teacher, last November.

"She's been so wonderful and caring. She's the most supportive woman," says Fogle, who proposed near Indiana University, their alma mater.

"I couldn't ask for more."

Katie McLaughlin and Jared Fogle plan to exchange vows this summer. But not before Fogle gets back into shape after letting himself go a bit.

Dude gained more than 40 pound last year. Granted, that's a far cry from 245, but he's still disappointed in himself looking to run it back off.

"I look at it as a little bit of a hiccup," Fogle says, blaming "not exercising as much as I should and not paying attention to what I was eating."

Now on track with a disciplined 2,000-calorie-a-day diet, Jared Fogle is also training for a marathon this fall in an effort to keep up the fight.

"I'm going to look darn good in those wedding pictures!" he says.
