Well think what ever you want. i Just cant wait to her what you all think when you acually here Aaron for real. Your going to be amazed you have no idea. i think David has a good voice but not great.

A self-proclaimed "legend in the making" makes me wonder about his talent. If you have to tell people that you are a legend in the making as opposed to people coming to that conclusion on their own.
As to comparing him to David Archuleta, well that statement about him being a legend in the making already makes him NOTHING like David Archuleta. I did listen to Aaron on youtube and I will wait to hear him live before I comment on his vocal ability.
I have heard David Archuleta live and he does have a fabulous voice and equally important to me is his ability to connect with many people -a heart and soul connection.

LMAO, self-proclaimed legend in the works, wth! He's mediore in looks and talent,not unique sounding either, so he'll need lotsa luck and connection to have a chance. My suggestion is to stick w/country cause they'll take anyone halfway decent.

Give me a break! No comparison at all! There will never be a "next" David Archuleta. David is David, one of a kind. He has a caring heart and a beautiful soul, and the fact that he can sing is just icing on the cake. Lots of icing!

To Unknown: Hon, we dont claim we can sing. There is a comparison here with the great voice of the generation..David Archuleta. The good points were made by the previous posters and yes, Aaron has a good voice, may be he is even better sounding now, but there is absolutely no comparison to David. That is all we are saying. And its not just about the voice with David. He has a spirit of music. He is music. He can sing with sore throat and still sound like an angel. He had terrible allergies in summer and have not cancelled a single show and gave unforgettable performances. He drove through the great blizzard weekend in December 2009 and still not cancelled the last two shows in Boston and New York. Listening to David is a spiritual experience. People faint after his songs. People cry. Grown men cry. People traveling from as far as Japan for just a few days only to see David sing. And he would never claim he is a legend. If you ever attended David concert you would know why we say that

I think it is a great compliment to David that everyone is comparing people to him. I heard they were comparing that other guy Justin from last weeks auditions to him too. This just shows how much of a amazing singer Archie is. Sorry do all the comparing that you want, no one comes even close to David. He is amazing inside and out!!!!!!!! ONE IN A MILLION!!!!

First of all you people have not idea what you are talking about.
I have heard Aaron sing a number of times. first of all this video of him singing is from YEARS AGO None of you people no what you are talking about because he is way better now. i bet none of you could sing like this kid sings and you people should get a life. Also he dosnt just sing country he sings everything you put in front of him. Get the story right before you talk about people

He is nothing like David. David puts so much emotion and passion in his singing it opens souls and transforms lives. It is a rare gift. It is not about just having a good voice, you have to be a amazing human being to be compared to David. And having already that much arrogance at age 16 is not a very good indication, it is a sign of immaturity.

When I first heard David Archuleta on AI I was amazed at his voice and wanted to find out more about him. So, I started searching the internet for all the information I could find about him to see if he was truly the kind of person he appeared to be. The more I read, the more I realized how truly amazing he is, not just his voice, but his character. His humility, his love for all people, his desire to help make the world a better place, his strong faith, all combined to help me realize he was someone worthy of my support. I cannot even remotely imagine David ever describing himself as a "Legend in the making" even though I believe he is just that. In all the ways that really matter, Aaron is nothing like David Archuleta.

The only comparisons that are valid are the age and the fact that he is a good singer in Country. Other than that, no looks, no power-house, no humble humility and no one in a million voice... Well, but he is in Country genre, so there is still room for this guy without being compared to David. Good luck!!

hale to the naw... no way, no how is this guy comparable to archuleta... idol had gold with archuleta, and won't find anyone coming close to him anytime soon... wish this guy all the luck though. he's going to have to be dynamite to live up to that comparison.

I don't see any reason to be comparing him with David Archuleta except the age. David Archuleta is way better and sings alot better to. HE IS NOTHING LIKE DAVID ARCHULETA.. David is pop and r&b and this guy is country, their is no diff between the to. David Archuleta alot better:):)

He has a very nice voice, but other than age, I see no similarity to David Archuleta. Aaron appears to want to be a country artist while David is pop/r&b. Their voices aren't similar either. And while I'm not putting down this kid's confidence (you need it to perform in showbiz) there's a HUGE difference between David's humility and a guy who claims he is a "legend in the works." So I honestly don't get trying to pigeonhole him as the "next David Archuleta." Good luck to him in the competition.
