Rihanna Gets New Tattoo: Sexy or Stupid?
She's no Travis Barker, but Rihanna is running out of space for tats.
Last night, the Rated R singer headed to NYC tattoo parlor East Side Ink - site of her gun tattoo - and had a personal motto etched indelibly in her skin forever.
“Rihanna came in at about 2:00 A.M.,” East Side Ink owner and artist Keith “BangBang” McCurdy said. “She told me in advance that she would be coming by."
When the singer, who teamed up with Adam Lambert to launch online music video provider Vevo, got to the tattoo parlor, she knew just the ink she wanted:
"'Never a failure, always a lesson,' but written backwards.”

To be a Success you have to fail a lot, the former head of IBM said you have to double your rate of failure. When Thomas Edison was asked about the 10,000 failed attempts at a making a light bulb, he said he'd found 10,000 ways to not make a light bulb before he found 1 that worked. From Edison's perspective, he'd had 10,000 lessons in making light bulbs. He was a scientist, and experimenting teaches you lessons. People who fail, quit. Quitters do not succeed. People who learn from their mistakes take those lessons and get better and move forward. They eventually succeed.
