sure sounded like some kind of put down. We all know Adam is SO MUCH MORE than the ama performance! His fye video is #1 right now.

ADAM, Allison & Kris have a concert coming in February. This comment is for any fan who thinks that Kris should distance himself from ADAM or vice versa. TPTB obviously think that it is in the best interests of all three young artists to perform together. If there was any animosity on any part of any one of them, I don't think they would be doing this. I agree Kris could have shown a bit more support like Allison did (you go girl!) but I didn't see any malice behind his comment. It was just "Kris being Kris"!! LOVE YOU KRADISON!!

You were making a wrong statement and hearting Adam. Everybody knows you are the big loser. However, using the first occasion to put Adam in a bad situation…….BACKFIRES on you!

Kris's words might be twisted but by now he should know better. He could have said something much for positively - Adam pumps up Kris and Kris does this? Not a friend. Watch out Adam.

Kris needs to learn how to talk. What he said can be taken the wrong way. I am not sure if he is trying to be supportive of Adam or not. Doesn't sound like that to me.

He may have been performing since he was 10, but unfortunately, he hasn't matured much since then.

This is exactly way Adam's fans love him so much. He tries to ignore the bad ,and keeps pushing towards the positive. He holds his head up high and keeps going no matter what. I have so much respect for Adam for being such a strong person. As far as ABC goes, the only way I will ever watch that netwoek again is if Adam is on. I am so angry at them for blacklisting Adam from their New Years Eve special. They have robbed all of us from seeing Adam perform . I can't believe that Dick Clark wants to go down in history as blacklistig one of the most exciting, and gifted entertainers of the 21st. century.

The way Kris said it does come off the wrong way. He has never been known to be articulate. But I strongly doubt that he was meaning to slam Adam. They seem like fairly good friends.

Kris didn't come across well. Adam being a theatrical person and a singer has a lot of creative juices flowing. He is feeling what works and what doesn't. "Adam being Adam" may mean that Kris always knew Adam wanted to express himself more. But we shouldn't have to read anything into his comments and he should just say what he means so people do not get the wrong idea. Adam, on the other hand, has supported and said nothing but plain old nice things about his AI friends. So, Kris if you are still friends, then praise your friend for the great cd he put out and what a nice guy he is - those are the things you used to say. Adam has your back - do you have his?

Sorry, I think Kris is giving a subtle put down to Adam when he says that. Am I surprised by Adam's performance? No. But is that the "real Adam?" ALL of it is. The emotional ballads, the fun dance music, the over the top Ring of Fire smokin hot sensual stuff. It's all Adam. And, it's all a reflection of an amazing talent and personality. So, I think Kris is making it sound like the AMA's are finally a first glimpse into how Adam really is and that is B.S. It is also unfair for Kris to make that statement when Adam has complimented and stood up for Kris left and right since IDOL. Some friend Kris is.

Wow this came off as Kris Allen slamming on Adam. I'm not sure if that his how he meant it. Adam really supports all of the other Idols. He tweets on how good Kris and Allison's CDs are. He puts a plug in every chance he gets for other artists. He plugged Pink, Lady Gaga, Muse, geez lots! Stop basing every performance Adam does on the freaking AMAs all ready. He is way more than one performance. The guy is a pro and has been performing since he was ten, surely if he was only the AMA gig we would have heard that by now. ABC had really blocked this guy's growth. ABC with their overreaction and ban have practically stalled if not sunked his career. ABC should be ashamed of themselves.

Yes, Adam's CD is wonderful. I also thought Kris was being a pain. I expected him to say that Adam was much more than what we saw at AMA It was a bad way of expressing it, but Kris is not very articulate.

You are being unfair to Adam and Kris here with your headline.
Kris's words are being framed and twisted in such a way to make it sound like the AMA show is where Adam is headed performance wise. That's not at all what Kris meant. He was saying after Idol Adam can now play to his adult fans as an adult performer. That's all. Adam's CD is amazing...can we talk about that?
