We really need Breaking Dawn in 2 parts. There is so much story to tell .It is the most important because everything falls in to place in that book and it is the climax of the whole story .Without it there is no ending.
Please Stephanie finish Midnight Sun you owe us !!!!!!!

I agree that there are aspects of both Twilight and New Moon that are good and of course New Moon looks really good since there was more money. But aren't we forgetting we haven't seen Eclipse and what David Slade did with this movie?? Maybe he would be the best choice?? Who knows, maybe all three working together would be good?? I would just hate to see them cut out to much of the book, b/c I felt they did it in NM, I know they had to do to time, but was bummed. Still enjoyed the movie.

I so agree with Gwendolyn, this is a love story bring back Catherine and Chris.

i have to say if catherine hardwicke directs breaking dawn alone i will be very disappointed...i didn't like her take on twilight...i found she made the characters far more awkward than they should have been and the same for scenes...the interactions between characters seemed to have a lot of pause in them too...don't get me wrong i still loved the movie but i loved chris weitz take so much more...and by the time we see eclipse from david slade's take we might prefer him...if she teamed up with someone else i wouldn't mind but i really hope it's not her alone...
and melissa rosenberg has done the script for all of the movies so it's been the same person portraying edward...i think people have to keep in mind new moon was all about jacob and bella becoming close and edward was a different version of himself through it!

Yes, I completely agree with Gwendolyn and Suz, and I would love to see Breaking Dawn split into two movies and have as much of it captured and brought to the big screen as possible.

i think its great news that breaking dawn will come in 2 parts, the book is so huge and you cant fit that amount of vital storyline into a 2hr film, there are alot of loose ends to tie up aswell so i think alot of time will be needed, i also think that maybe 2 directors 1 of wich being catherine hardwick could work together on this 1,
im so exited never the less.

I love the idea of splitting the movie. One because it gives us more viewing time with our wonderful vampires, but the book has alot of things in it, alot of information that would be cut to short and would feel incomplete if it was all in one movie. Plus, it would be a smart idea on Summit's part...they might as well drag it out and bring in the money.

Right on Gwendolyn! I thought there was not enough reaction on Edward's part in seeing Bella alive. There was not enough chemistry between Bella & Edward. The movie was great, but the passion of Twilight was kinda missing. Stephanie should have disapproved of the way they portrayed Edward's character. He should have been more like the Edward in Twilight. The person in charge of writing the script was way off on his part!!

(I am agreeing with Gwendolyn, that is)

  10. Suz

I totally agree with Gwendolyn! Catherine Hardwicke did a better job with Twilight than Chris Weitz did with New Moon. She brought out the romance and passion (and humor) much better than Chris did in NM, even tho it is a darker story. I feel Breaking Dawn must have a woman's touch - because it is the climax to B/E's relationship. Very sweet moments in the book, and I think they need Catherine to bring it to life.

Yes, you said it perfectly. I agree completely. I would love to see Catherine Hardwicke direct Breaking Dawn as well.

My next question is, can we look forward to Midnight Sun any time really soon?????????? With all the support we have given to the Twilight saga, I think Stephanie owes us that much! So come on girl, give your loyal, loyal fans that one little thing. Also, Summit owes us the movie version too. I think Edward's version will be better than Bella's, if that could be possible. We just want a complete set of Edward's side of the story! What do we say Twihards, rally behind me here. Dont't you agree they owe us Midnight Sun??? After all, they owe us something for all the support, right?

  13. Gwendolyn

My oppinion is this: The finish is the most important! I feel mistakes were made in New Moon, while Chris Weitz did an amazing job bringing the wolves to life and the Volturi he lost some of the passion that Catherine Hardwicke captured. Bring her back for Breaking Dawn, let her be a part of finishing what she started ! Even if she is co- directs with Chris. The Twilight saga is not so amazing because of Vampires or Werewolves , it is all about the unselfish LOVE of the main characters EDWARD & Bella.

As long as there is a new director and a new screen writer. With Chris and Melissa, if NM is any indication, all of BD will be about the very boring wolfpack and taycob--they cut short so many of the B/E moments and we didn't get to enjoy Robsten at all!.

Additionally, WTF with the slow motion..that is so 90's and come on man, if you are going to do CGI--do it where it doesn't look so fake!

Great news if its 2 films, theres too much in the book to do it justice for 1. You can never get enough Robsten.
