I happen to know this family and they are all well ajusted, kind, loving and very respectful to each other as well to everyone else.
They can have as many kids as they want, it's none of our business. They work very hard to make sure they can take care of all their needs without help from the state. Jim Bob and Michelle are wonderful parents who love each child as a gift from God. If more people treated each other like this family the world would be a much nicer place to live. Congrats dear friends on the newest baby. May God hold you all close to his heart as you both recover..

They are totally debt free, have a houseful of well mannered, well adjusted children who have more of their parent's attention then most households with 2 children receive....who has the right to tell them what to do. I am in awe by what they do. It is their decision .. Good luck to Michelle and baby Josie, God Bless and a speedy recovery.

The Duggars are just breeding for the sake of breeding...there is no reason or ryhme why anyone with sense would deplete their body having baby after baby, year after year! Senseless and stupid!ellielouwho is right....these people are just professional breeders, just like a puppy mill!!Stop already!! They should not have a reality tv show to justify thier freak show! Give people who make a real difference and have responsible morals a tv show...NOT THESE FREAKS WHO BREED FOR THE SAKE OF BREEDING...BTW WHEN IN HELL DO THEY GET TIME TO "fu*k"

Well Michelle, you are starting to have what you have been looking for , the next one could be a Down Syndrome baby. These couple are OCD with all the trimmings, controlling, etc, it is not the NORM, watch Michelle when all the family step out of the bus , you can tell that she is so DETACH from all those kids, she will walk out of the bus like if she is alone without looking to her side to grab a hand of one of the other kids, she let that job for the others to do...LAZY,irresponsible, not what a loving mother would do, sorry. Just wait and see the others taking care of this one if it comes with some abnormality, SHE WILL NOT TAKE CHARGE OF THIS ONE, TRUST ME. It has always strike me as funny that they do not let the children watch or hear anything relating to sex, and the girls has to dress so prude and look at them, all the think when is our next tryst, HOLY GHOST. No wonder the oldest son , did not go to the University, married and is having a child, those are repressed feelings ,

I hope that everything is okay with this little baby and that she is able to be home with her family soon. It is so hard to have a sick baby. I will pray for them.

The Duggar family speaks as if they think they are loving Christians. In today's world having 19 children is NOT the Christian way; nor is it even common sense. When thousands of children languish in foster or group homes being shuffled from one to another - most of them just praying for a permanent adoptive family - people like the Duggars should be condemned by the press, not given fame for being professional breeders! It is GREED that prompts people to behave in this fashion. If they have enough money to support a litter of 19, then adopt some of the difficult to place children. THAT would be deserving of attention rather than the false "fame" they seek for simply behaving like rabbits. I am ashamed to live in the same world with such thoughtless, selfish people - (gluttony is a sin). Choosing to breed 19 children is gluttonous ESPECIALLY when SO many children need a "forever" family. God Bless the couples who have been given small amounts of TV coverage for ADOPTING as many as

The newest baby will pay for the parents wants. It is easy for them to keep having kids, built in baby sitters. I do not see Michelle doing a whole lot of taking care of the kids or housework. All she does is breed. Maybe they should buy a tv, might keep watching tv and keep the population from growing.

It's amazing how the same people who say a woman should have the right to choose to abort a child, don't feel that Michelle should have as many children as she and her husband chooses, they are not asking anyone for anything.

This family needs to stop having children & enjoy what they already have - it's like an addiction with her to keep breeding, now they may possible have a sick child with a multitude of medical problems & mounting medical bills. Stop & smell the roses - how can you possible give all these children the attention they deserve.

May you have great joy and love with all of the blessings that our loving and faithfull God has given you. We pray for a full and fast healing for both of you. Even though your newest is small, remember that God has her in His hands. There are no better ones to be in. And don't pay attention to those who are negative. They are not in your family and have no right to tell you what to do or not to do. Just love one another and stay a strong family.

Somebody needs to tell Michelle Duggar to stop having kids!!!! Everytime she has another kid the chances of something going wrong goes up. Now they have this poor little 1 lb 6 oz baby girl that is most likely to have serious problems later in life. I mean I really hope, and pray that everything is ok, and the baby turns out to be fine. I mean the worst thing that could possibly happen in life is losing a child. I'm serious though. Their doctor needs to tell her that either they(Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar) start using condoms or they STOP having sex altogether!!!!!!!!!

The Duggars have been pushing their luck and now they have lost. It's time for this breeding to stop. The child is going to suffer, if she survives and the mother's health is in jeopardy as well. God does not decide how many children you have, you do, Michelle. That's why He gave you a brain to reason and make good decisions, unlike our four-footed creatures.

1 LB 6oz!?!? This baby may not survive....and if it does its chances of having a multitude of healthe problems and handicaps are over 90%.....This is really a sad and scarey time for this family...These people really need to stop already, this mother has taken decades off of her life putting this continued stress on it NONSTOP since she was 18 years old. I think they said she had not spend more than a year without being pregnant.....I hope she can enjoy her children and raise them, as they should not sacrifice this woman's health or endanger any more babies....

Wouldn't Josie be younger than her own niece, not older, as Mackynzie was born first?
