Eddie Vedder and Jill McCormick: Engaged!
In rare, actually uplifting news not involving Tiger Woods, Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and his longtime girlfriend Jill McCormick are engaged!
The time and place of the happy moment? Friday night in Washington, D.C., where they were in town for Sunday's Kennedy Centers Honors gala.
Vedder performed as part of a tribute to honoree Bruce Springsteen. Looks like he performed a little, ring-producing magic prior to that concert!
He and Jill McCormick have two daughters, 5-year-old Olivia and Harper Moon, 15 months. This would be Vedder's second marriage and her first.
Congrats to Eddie Vedder and Jill McCormick!

According to me, Eddie is the type of person who would not deal with the music already. Music filled his life and also my and our. I have no fear that I have not seen Eddie on stage. He lives with music and there is a lot of talent that the world has to give away. And I believe him.

The only music that I listen and I really like the Pearl Jam. I listen to them from morning till night. I like Eddie as a person and as a singer. I know that the singers have their private life, but to me it is difficult to say, from when he married. I go to concerts all the PJ and I try not to take note that even Eddie has his life.

I've always loved Pearl Jam, especially Eddie Vedder. I would want the best for them, and I hope their marriage inspires him to create more fantastic music.

Well, after this news along with the lyrics to The End, Vedder may actually be about to hang up his spurs and stop touring. Please don't, but I understand if you do.
