most of us aussies knew this... i don't understand why they're bringing it up now! maybe because the politicians are old(ish)and weren't aware of much pop culture news (antiques roadshow, anyone?), and this has come as a shock to them that australians are paying more money than they should to see britney spears humping a frickin pole and not even singing while doing so. and they should be concerned! we're in an economic crisis at the moment, for christ's sake! its being seen as a waste of time and money.
actually, as an avid australian reader of this site i am very offended. and for all of you bagging australians... STFU.

Anyone who's ever HEARD of Britney knows she doesn't sing live. Trust me, you wouldn't want to pay money to hear that anyway. Her lip-syncing is a gift to her audiences so they actually get to hear her sounding good instead of off-key and breathy.
Seriously Says, you are the dumbest ass out. Kylie sings live and is one of the only contemporary to do so. You are obviously a really ugly girl or a bitter queen!Can you afford a concert ticket??? Derek, i couldn't agree with you more. Even though she still young, she is old for some reason. She's past her prime. It was okay when she was a teen dancing around like that but now it's strange, like watching a mom parading around making an a$$ of herself. It's time for her to mature up with her routine or give it up all together.
