I have to say, i hate the fact i like "party in the usa" and the fact i enjoyed hannah montana, her bro was the best.
But i hate twilight, disgusts me. Edward is a joke, hes ugly, he has no muscle tone, hes pathetic. Yet girls rave over his bed head hair. Edward should have been the werewolf, see that body hair ? Damn.
Aside from that, Miley is just one of the few people who can state an honest opinion and not care what someone thinks. May be bad for her, may be good. Who knows.
This coming from a 21yr male.

Miley isnt alone in not caring for Twilight. She tweeted earlier in the year that her and Emily were reading the Twilight book and she didnt like it, so big woop. As a realist, I've never seen the appeal of vampires and werewolves; it's just not believable for me. And, Twilight DOES have a cult following, just as Harry Potter, Star Trek, and Rocky Horror does. Not to mention that I'm sure some christians do not appreciate it's dark side. I admire her speaking her mind and not feeling she needs to yield to popular peer pressure.

I hate this girls voice. Miley has the voice of a 40 year old who smokes two packs a day. Her singing voice is better. As for Twilight, she was giving her opinion but I think it was way harsh and over the top. Saying that Twilight is bad? Why, because they take away from the attention of you. Miley has the same teenage fan base as Twilight so it did sound like she was kind of jealous of the attention it's getting. Remember for a minute when everything was about Miley. The green eyed monster is rearing its ugly head...lol

ok... here's the thing. most people that bash the Twilight saga have not read the books. also as a twi-hard, i admit the acting skills in the movies of the main characters leaves much to be desired. However - Hannah Montana has just as large of a following as Twilight only HM cult worshipers are usually under 13. Twilight cult followers (yes i'm one of them) range in age from 13 to 113. i'm 36 and am madly in love with Edward. i don't expect to marry him and i'm not in love with Robert Pat ... the books are good. deal with it.

I agree that if the people followed Miley around like they do the Twilight gang she would have nothing to say.
I have read every Twilight book and actually like the movies. BUT THIS IS FANTASY and sometimes people like to slip into a FANTASY every now and then. There is nothing wrong with it.
My children like Miley. I will let them listen to her music but they cannot watch her on TV or listen to her interviews unless it is on Disney.
Someone needs to install a filter for Miley. Not everything you think needs to be said....

Okay, so here's my two cents...
I really feel that Miley overstepped her stardom by calling Twi-fans names. It is really a low blow and very immature. In case she hasn't realized, Hannah Montana had the same effect on girls even younger than Twilight's target audience. What's worse? Little girls under ten were forcing their moms (and dads) to buy H.M. merchandise and begging to go to a concert that tickets sold for hundreds of dollars a seat. Geez...sounds a bit cult-like. I'd rather see rabid fans lining up outside of bookstores to get a book than to see someone waste 100 bucks on some music.
Twilight isn't for everyone, nor was it meant to be. It is genre-specific entertainment. Yes, entertainment. It doesn't have to make sense why people love it because plain and simple, if you don't like it, don't buy into the franchise. Problem solved.

I posted earlier, but I wanted to post again after reading some of the posts after me.
I am a huge Twilight fan, if you could see my walls, I have one wall dedicated to music, from Guns N Roses, to Foo Fighters, to the Prince of Darkenss himself. I have a wall dedicated to nothing but Twilight related stuff. Collecter's Magazine, Collecter Trading Cards, I have almost everything I could get my hands on Twilight related... call me obsessed or whatever, but I dont talk about Twilight 24/7, I dont worship it, I dont pretend I'm kissing Jacob Black when I kiss my boy friend. I am a collector. And I bet you money, anyone else who has posted on here sayin they are Twilight fans will tell you the exact same things.
Miley is mouthing off because she's out of the spotlight, so creating drama about something so popular puts her back in it. No such thing as bad publicity. As long as her name is in the papers and in the magazines and all over the internet, she's gettin what she wants.
