I'm sorry but Miley Cyrus is 17...that's old enough to know how to say things in a respectful manner...she could've just said she didn't like it..No everyone doesn't like Twilight but everyone doesn't like her yet I don't go around telling my 5 year old niece that she dresses like a slut and about how much I dislike her...and THG has a point, MILLIONS of girls love and follow Miley Cyrus religiously but you don't see her calling it a "cult"...it's obvious she's jealous because this is the second time she's mentioned it..she needs to grow up and get over it..

If so many teens don't like Miley then why does she continually sell out concerts, top the charts again and again, cause thousands of people to wait for days and sleep on sidewalks just to hear - not even "see" her perform in New York on the Today show and GMA, and still get the biggest number of search hits among teen stars on the internet.
After all, Miley's little fans who first tuned in to Hannah Montana a few years back are growing up too and many have remained loyal. I've seen her audiences and they're not just little girls. In fact, at least half, if not most, are teens and adults.

Miley ia soooo annoying. At least the cast of Twilight aren't attention whores like her and have never stooped to her level by talking trash about anyone else. what she is doing is kind of like when teenagers "rebel". its jsut for the hell of it, to be "different". frankly, it has no real reason adn is kind of insane.
why she feels the need to insult robert pattinson, I have no idea. johnny depp is hot, but why is she putting down these girls for loving the movie, the books and robert pattinson. its jsut good fun. there is the occasional teenage girl/mother thats kind of gone off the deep end with this shit, but thats rare. Miley is mature enough to be considered an adult, so I think it is okay to bash on her, even though she is still considered a child. But, I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I hate to say it, even though I get mad when people bash on Twilight. I think the main reason guys bash on Twilight is the jealousy they have over Edward and Jacob. I think everyone else is confused about the message that it is sending to the Youth. All I can say is that I think it's okay that girls want to have an ideal version of man or woman. We all have that image of what an ideal man or woman looks like to us. We've all seen Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. It's the same thing. Why is the Twilight Saga any different? Shouldn't we bash on the media too? For creating the perfect woman: blonde hair, blue eyes, and nice boobs? Or the fashion industry for making people anorexic? ...These accusations are ridiculous.
