Grey's Anatomy hunk Eric Dane and Private Practice leading lady Kate Walsh will be teaming up in the newest crossover of those successful ABC medical dramas.
Here's the crossover situation:
- On Grey’s Anatomy, Dr. Mark Sloan (Dane) pleads with Addison to come to Seattle and help perform surgery on a patient (guest star Leven Rambin).
- On Private Practice, complications arise and Mark is forced to take the patient down to L.A. for more surgery, presumably also performed by Addison.
As for Mark's connection to the girl, whether sparks fly between the former lovers, and whether the relationship between Mark and Lexie is at all impacted?
That remains to be seen. But we can only assume it will involve serious surgical and sexual tension, plus a long-winded melodramatic monologue or eight.
Eric Dane and Kate Walsh (right) will cross paths again on Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. Their medical link? Former All My Children star Leven Rambin (middle).

Don't care...cant fathom either sho...and apparently, neither can fly solo, leaning on each other like drunken sailors!!

Ugh. I happen to adore Mark and Lexie. Addison coming in the way will get me angry.
