First Look, Listen: Nick Jonas and the Administration
Fear not, fans. The Jonas Brothers are not breaking up.
But when Kevin was off spending time with fiancee Danielle Deleasa and Joe was on vacation in Australia a couple months ago, Nick recorded an album with four other musicians.
The group calls itself Nick Jonas & the Administration. The 17-year old heartthrob describes their sound as "heart and soul because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul."
Fair enough. This is a look at the cover art for the band's first single, "Who I Am."
The name of the group is a nod to Barack Obama and the White House team. Nick has actually expressed an interest in running for President himself some day.
For now, millions of girls are thrilled that he's a singer instead. Check out a sample of "Who I Am" below, before the meanies at YouTube take it down. (Note: They've done so. Our apologies.)

:) thats so awesome, i luv how Nick is going to reach for all his dreams, just because hes a good singer doesnt mean hes not smart. It would be cool if he became prez someday. my kids will be like... you had a crush on the Prez? wow... :P
So excited about this album. speaking of that, is there a release date yet?

omg. i just can't wait till the whole single and album comes out. he is so talented. i support you nick and love you with all my heart no matter what. but omg. i am getting so excited. just thinking about it. wow. this is gonna be crazy. :) peace ;)

Yay Nick! I'm sure the entire album will sound as great as this snippet! Nick is a very talented, smart and grounded young man who works very hard to achieve his goals! I'm sure he will make an excellent President in 2040! :)

I love the sound of this song. Can't wait for it to be releases. However, the name of the group is not a nod to Obama. Yes it is a nod to his comments that he wants to become president some day. There's a big difference there.
