Donny Osmond Crowned Dancing with the Stars Champion
Dear America: you're a moron.
Despite the fact that Mya was clearly the better mover and shaker, Donny Osmond was crowned the winner of Dancing with the Stars last night.
Upon hearing the news, Osmond ran into the crowd and hugged his wife. He later said: "I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy right now! I'm on cloud nine!"
Seriously, Donny. Chill. You beat the likes of Louie Vito and Tom DeLay to win a trophy reserved for those whose careers passed them by years ago. Relax.
Mya, meanwhile, couldn't help but express disappointment.
"There's so much. There's disappointment, dedication, passion and commitment... I've learned multiple amount of things. It's an experience that you'll never forget for the rest of your life and that you want to share with others."
Do you think the right contestant won? Or do you now shudder at the thought of Osmond racing around from talk show to talk show this week, talking about his hard-earned, BS victory?

The right person won. Donny did a fantastic job. Mya seemed the best because she's A PROFESSIONAL DANCER. Not really a stretch for her to learn ballroom when she already did the tango in the Movie Chicago and was a dancer in two other movies, on Broadway and in music videos. Kelly was more deserving than Mya as her dancing background was more limited.

The right person won. Tom say's to vote your favorite, NOT! the best. Donny was Good. Tho! MYa was the Best. Kelly, the most improved. All deserved where they ended up. Donny got the most votes. Mya didn't. And neither did Kelly. That is how the show works. Don't like it. come back next season and VOTE! as many times as you can for YOUR favorite.

I think the right person won. I thought Mya came off as though she expected to win, a little too "I'm the best". She did nothing for me too bland and bathroom break worthy. Kelly on the other hand was too cute for words. In case we have forgotten, when it is up to the public to decide the winner, it is always going to be a popularity contest (especially in the demographic that actually watches this show). I love Donny Osmond, he was always gracious and showed up to perform. Koodoos to him baby!

I am ultimately disappointed. I thought this was about dancing - not popularity! Dopnny won because hs is Donny the Entertainer and Donny the Mormon. When one has not only one's fans but also one's religious supporters voting, fairness goes out the window. My neighbors - and I do love them both - are Mormon and have been rooting for Donny all the way, so I know of which I speak. Mya was clearly the better dancer and should have been the uncontested winner. I certainly hope he realizes the reasons he won were not due to his dancing ability and that it is, indeed, a hollow victory for him. Now we can add Donny the Favored One to all the aforementioned titles as well.
