Adam was wrong! Again plain and simple! He wasn't on MTV, he was on public tv! Then to disrespect parents who pay for their children to buy his cd, was low! Since the beginning of tv, parents have allowed their children to stay up and watch special shows. I was disappointed in Adam that I thought he wanted to be known for his talent not being gay. I have been a huge fan of Elton John have been to a concert of his and have his records and never have been offended. However, if you want to be known for your sexual preference instead of your talent, then you have open doors for people to voice their moral opinions. There is a time and place for everything however public tv during a special wasn't the time or place for a new artist to try and shock people what he did has been done over and over and people are tired and bored! Adam didn't do anything new just show that he/Adam doesn't have class.

People like Ted Kennedy was elected over and over to office and he killed a woman left her to drown and didn't go back to the next day because he was drunk! Clinton lied under oath! Yet you want a 19 year who has been convicted and paying for his crime to pay forever! When Kennedy and Clinton didn't even pay for an hour! Get real, he made a huge mistake and Chris is paying for it! I hope he will take this and turn his direction around. The anger management class, picking up trash and lost of respect will surely help him remember! Continue to move forward Chris, wish you the best in the future!

Forgiveness in this time of the year is an underlying understanding and this young man deserves understanding and a second chance just like anyone else. As for ABC, they have a right to air whomever they wish; I think Adam L. should have had his turn on the show, but based on the AMA performance, I understand a man's face in his genital area may be too much in the morning if they thought the show might be the same.
