Yes, this is a double standard not only by Oprah but by the media at large!
Chris Brown should not have been the poster boy at 19 kid in a man's suit) for domestic violence.
Although I don't condone what he did to Rihanna, I think Rihanna is partly to blame...but she is forgiven because she has a pretty face.
Additionally, Hollywood has had its share of men behaving badly with women..but instead they are dismissed as bad-boys.

BTW - that last comment by me was SARCASM in the opening sentence people - Oprah just seems to have gone through every possible situation in life, she has seen it all, been through it all and done it all - if not been exposed to it all. She's a liar, she's made herself a Martyr and right here proved she's a hypocrite. Glad she got knocked off her pedestal for once and receiving criticism, she's got massive Gob - she needs to shut it and this time it's been shut for her with her own justified actions - I hope this the first of many mistakes that come to light. She's got a God complex - it comes come from her having her own cult - anyone with a God complex is spawned from the devil... Burn, burn, burn Harpo.

But surely, Oprah emphathised ? I mean, c'mon - she hasn't been through what this guy has been through - OPRAH, the Queen-B has no heart because she's never experienced anything of the sort ? Oprah is not only a hypocrite, she's Satan's minion.

Oprah is a hypocrite! She didn't go off on BeBe like she did on Chris Brown! How unfair. She didn't hold back on judging Chris Brown until the full story was told. She just jumped right on the band wagon and help form a public opinion! Why wait until BeBe goes to court? Oprah is wrong and she will never admit it!!!!!

I personally think that men should never hit a woman, unless it could be a life and death situation. Men have got to learn that they don't have a right to hit women, and they should always walk away. Oprah has made a good decision to take BeBe off the show, until everything is clear. When you think of gospel music, you should be representing yourself in a religious espect. Woman are not dolls or play toys to beat up on....

Bebe Winans is a good person. Who is Oprah to judge people,she is not God. Let God be his judge and jury.There is always 2 side to every story. Just like Rhinan, every one is taking her side what about Chris Brown. Rhinann is not innocent.

The law says innocent until proven guilty, period.
Oprah is amazing and even the amazing make mistakes. No one is perfect, I think people should cut her some slack. The douche is now banned until further notice.
