Some credible australian artists: Savage Garden, AC/DC, Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia...those artists are know in the whole world, even in Finland."

this bases of the issue is that technology has taken control of live performances as a music technician myself i know the technology backwards. what britney has done is use the technology for her advantage, during her teen-pop concerts she needs to keep the audience on edge by using dance moves. i've worked in the theatre and it is incredably hard to get great sound while the singers are dancing about giving the best performance they can. Britany (due to being a solo artist) does not have the choice that "the pussy cat dolls's" have which is while the others are dancing about while one of them sings she has to do it on her own. i am pro-syncing but only when its needed and i have to admit that during some performances britney does not need to lipsync. if she wants to give great quality vocals why doesn't she get a pitch correcter i've used one during a live show and the 13 year old that we are training atm could use it.

Keighan, i'm glad you enjoyed the concert but don't start complaining if many others didn't enjoy. Let them complain who have something to complain about! Australians are not the only ones. In Finland people were disappointed, too, because of her lip-synching. I love Britney's voice and she herself could be proud enough for it to use it at her concert. Guess she was just too lazy. She didn't even bother to interact with the audience. She's known for her music and for her singing, so when you went to her concert it was a disappointment to realize the fact that she actually is more of a dancer and an actress than a singer. The arrangements were big and looked great but i wouldn't have paid 150 dollars for it.

Your jokes arn't funny "The Hollywood Gossip" and quite frankly picking sides with Britney Spears over Australian concert viewers is pretty sad.
I know that this website isn't a fan of Miley Cyrus, who is a whole lot worse then Britney Spears, and all in all your posts don't really make sense, do you have good taste in people!?
Altogether, Britney's manager has clamed that she can't sing, dance and put on a good performance all at the same time. BUT HEY! Isn't it Pink who recently performed here who sung LIVE while hanging from ropes in the air?

However, the issue here is that when her PR & marketing team promoted her Circus tour they misled people to believe she was performing/singing LIVE. As for it being 'common knowledge' that she lip sync's - it's common knowledge George W Bush was one of the greatest dictators to ever walk this earth - and that still didn't deter American's from voting him into power !! HA. As for being grateful that she even came to 'that country', we have great musical talent here in Australia. These guys are in their 50's and they don't need to lip synch.

these arguments supporting britney...you all know she lip syncs...but still go to her concerts and support her...that is not a real artist and your wasting your time and money on her. Atleast the australians are smart enough to not bother supporting a fake artist as there are much better out there. she has this huge reputation, but lacks living up to it because the talent is just not there. gone are the days of her huge success in the 90s and early 2000, now there are new and better REAL artists.

Just a taste on some RESEARCH done that I apparently need to do. As for "Credible" artist from Down Under, I do not see or hear from ANY americans here dying for an Aussie act to come here... Although I do have a love for some Kylie every now and then. Those are the TOP 5! and that is here in america where we do know that shy lips syncs! I at least knew what I was going to see, and I HIGHLY doubt that it was lackluster show. the footage of her concert online shows up close how pathetic the concert is. She can't sing, can't dance - it's a total ripoff given the fact she is charging $200 - $1500 per ticket! Not to mention she is totally shunning any media interviews since she is soooo famous and all. That sort of arrogance is not a great way to win fans over.

Britney's a lousy performer in any country. Keighan, don't even try to speak for all Americans. Maybe you enjoy lip-synched performances, but I have a feeling you're in the minority. Most of us want to hear a live show. Otherwise, why pay for tickets when we can watch videos for free.
Britney is no great artist. Her career was made by publicity. There are many, many better performers out there. Too bad skank sells.
