I didn't think it was good with or without all the sexual dancing and lady gaga does stuff like that all time and people dont freak out as bad. However,I thought the overall performance wasn't that good I didnt' even like his voice.

Adam Lambert needs Jesus. I will not critized his standards but will say he probably thinks he didn't do anything wrong. But the bible speaks of people who don't know his word will be blinded by the truth. This performance was an exact example of the meaning behind what Jesus said.

I loved Adam Lambert on Idol...I'm was hoping for a picture of his talent, not the distraction of his attempt at adding shock value. I think Adam is putting his focus in the wrong direction.

OMG...are these comments serious? You all really need to get over yourselves. If you wanted values in a performer then you should have followed Kris Allen. Oh wait he was there.....to present an award. How much of a slap in the face for him that he won AI yet was an afterthought while Adam was asked to perform and was hot on the carpet before. Think of it this way...out of all the acts we watched last night, who btw had their own crotch grabbing and sex themes going on, Adam is the one getting all of the buzz today. He's a genius. If you don't like it, don't watch it and quit blaming it on having to explain to the kids. It's not his voice that is making girls and boys fawn all over him. The vocals and sound may not have been as good as they could have been but I would much rather see a live performance than lip synching any day. I loved it and I love him. He can definatly be my entertainment.

Get over it and get over yourselves! There are gay men out there! The only reason you hated his performance last night is because you hate gay men! Adam, be yourself but watch your back!

Shocked?! That I am! However, Adam has the guts to do what lots of us don't. I'm glad I put my youngin' to bed before this performance though! And I'm sure that's why they saved his performance for the end and glad I stayed up till the end.

I loved Adam on American Idol. He really has a great voice. I did not like this song. I didn't really find the performance "shocking", it was OK (not great). I hope his cd has better songs than this. If it doesn't, I will be really disappointed. I think he can do so much better. He is much better when he doesn't scream. I find it very annoying. That said, he is very talented and charismatic and hopefully he will show that to the world in his next big performance.

I'm a huge Adam fan and always will be. I'm a 47 year old grandmother of two and I thought the performance on the AMA's was awesome! It aired on the West Coast at close to 11pm, so why would there be any kids watching at that time. I thought it bought excitement to an otherwise ho hum show and was definateley worth waiting up for! Love you Adam.....you're the best!

The sound man is a paid professional and would not intentionally do such a thing. Try again, Glambertidot. Adam really sucked BAD, and that is the truth and how the rest of America will see his performance.

Everything about his performance SUCKED SO BAD!!!! His stage movements were off, the content was too in your face for regular TV and all over the place, and, worst of all, was that his voice was out of tune! What a train wreck!!!! Maybe next time, if there is one for him, the MUSIC and his VOICE will be centerstage and not stupid gimmicks and stage antics designed to shock. Were we REALLY that shocked? I know I wasn't! I just thought ... UGH, another shitty OT performance done by a wannabe star, who, I guess, will do anything to get attention. Not cool. I'm glad Kris Allen won Idol, since it's about singing, and not theatrics. Adam belongs in the Rocky Horror Show.

I find it truly sad that this generation has been so vulgarized that sex is just a meaningless sport or barter for material gain, even among the very young. Young women looking and acting like gutter whores and young men with no respect for themselves or these misguided girls. Truly devoid of soul and spirit, empty shells looking to fill the emptiness with their next loveless orxxgasm. And real talent has been replaced with shock appeal, hence most of the AMA "performances."
This has nothing to do with being gay. I happened to like Lambert's singing and rooted for him on AI, knowing he was gay. If a straight man had been doing the same gestures with all women, it would have been equally pornographic and disgusting.
I feel sorry for the pathetic lot of youth today: but you've been brainwashed by the depraved of Hollywood from a young age and don't even know what you're missing. I guess sex sells when your limited on talent. (:-(

For those idiots that are freaking out that parents allowed their children to stay up late to wrap up the AMA's, shut the hell up!! #1....you have no freaking idea what time it aired in every person's time zone! #2...you apparently think everyone over the age of 12 should be numb and accepting of this "entertainment" on a program that was supposed to be suitable for all ages, hence its network rating! You can go and see raunchy, shitteous performance anywhere...if you want to, but to force this crap in the living rooms of millions of unsuspecting and unprepared families is just sick....talk about the sick ass liberal media machine forcing everyone to be desensitized!!

Ok, the stage show was too forced and possibly too little rehearsal who knows. It just did not work on many levels. He doesn't really have to try that hard to entertain people. All he has to do is open his mouth and SING. Maybe he forgot that his amazing voice is what started this whole Adam is the Rock-god thing.
Somebody remind him, ok? The fans are restless to hear this guy sing. The live performances this summer were some of the best live on-tour-vocals I can remember in a long time. His dancing was pretty cool too--but leave those dancers from last night home when you go out on tour with your new CD. oK?
Just bring your big voice and your dancing pants--that is all we need to appreciate you Adam. You can bring a whip or two as well, but as for the rest of that crew-meh, no thanks.

Your kids should not be watching TV at 11:00 p.m. on a school night. Any parent permitting this should be more worried about their parenting skills than anything A. Lambert or the other risque performers on AMA are doing.
But yeah, I agree that Lambert's performance was bad. Instead of showing that he sings well, he chose to present a talentless, skanky number. Bad business move, dude.

I didn't watch last season of "AI," but I kept hearing about how brilliant Adam Lambert was. This was my first real exposure to him. And I gotta ask...Is that it? A gay Geddy Lee impersonator? Throwing desperate attempts at sexual shock like spaghetti against a wall to try to disguise the utter craptabulance of that awful song?
But I suppose he does have some talent. You'd have to be a pretty good ventriloquist to keep singing loud and clear when your tongue is in another guy's mouth.

The performance was not appropriate for kids and they are the ones watching the show and purchasing the cd's. I wanted him to win American Idol but after that performance, I will not be purchasing his album. How can you justify a performance like that and how do you explain to a 10 year old who is watching the mimic of a man giving a blow job to another man? I am stunned that ABC did not monitor the performance a little better.

I'm an Adam fan who loved him on AI. I stayed up until the end f the show just to watch him, and I was totally disappointed. That performance did not even showcase his amazing vocals, was completely trashy, and will alienate him from many former fans.
