H1Noooooo: Melissa Rycroft Has Swine Flu

Melissa Rycroft is a pro at staying strong in the face of adversity.

On the most recent season of The Bachelor, she received the final rose from Jason Mesnick, only to be dumped on national TV in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney.

She went on to appear on Dancing with the Stars, where she battled through a hairline fracture in her ribs to make the final three and dance on the season finale.

Here's hoping she can bounce back similarly from swine flu.

“Poor Melissa is really, really sick,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “She was due to do a photo shoot today but had to cancel at the last minute."

At least Melissa Rycroft has Tye Strickland to care for her. Unless he's holed up in the guest room with surgical mask on to prevent getting the dreaded H1N1 himself.

“It’s so unlike Melissa, as she’s usually such a pro, so you know she has to be on death’s door, figuratively speaking.” Good to know she's not there literally. Phew.

Melissa Rycroft has been sick for several days now, Twittering Monday: “Why did I wake up feeling like I got hit by a Mack truck last night?? Ughh... stupid flu...”

Hopefully, her insurance agent fiance, Tye Strickland, who she got engaged to a few months ago and plans to marry December 12, can nurse her back to health!
