Poor poor abused JON. Kate did all the banking, did the contract talks with TLC, wrote a book & sold it. Jon quit his job and sat at home for 2 years (with nannies help) Most men whose wives travel continue working. Jon spent the book money while doing nothing. Poor mistreated Jon. Kate lost repect for him and Jon ran away. Jon could have earned the respect back, but that would have required work.

Team Kate! She is not abusive, she's just trying to hold it together while Jon is running around with younger women.
Kate is stupid and always in a bad mood. she literly beats her kids and doesnt talk to them.

Jon is making an ass out of himself. It's really not hard for him to do that because he is an ass. He may think he grew up after he went to counseling. It's like he is running off at the mouth and repeating what others have told him to say. Jon is still acting like an infantile brat. Poor innocent Mady, she acts just like him.
Hopefully Kate can keep her chin up and say as little as possible through all of Jon's poorly judged escapades.
Jon should step out or be kicked out of the public eye. He is so hung up on himself.
Kate needs to be left alone from Jon to do what ever is needed even if she and the children want to keep the reality show. Kate can bring back some peace and stability to herself and the children.

Newsflash: I work with parents who do not discipline their children at all and the children are unhappy and bratty. They refuse to listen to adults, yell at adults, bite, kick, hit others, sulk, and fight. I'd rather see a parent occasionally spank (not hard and not often) a child than let them raise themselves. Sorry but I back Kate on this issue IF she isn't doing it on a regular basis.
He should be put in jail. At least it would stop his lying, and manipulating from being news. He is just another dead beat dad trying to make the mom look bad because he knows how bad he is and has been. He is a fat geek with man boobs that keep getting bigger. He should habg out with Kfed. vaborn You are so right. That's how it worked when we raised out kids. All it took was what we coined "THE LOOK" and the kids would straighten up immediately. Yes we all have LIGHTLY spanked our children from time to time so what if Kate spanks them? I'm not talking about beating or using implements, just a normal pat on the butt and that's all Kate does. More than likely when Kate gives the kids THE LOOK there isn't a need for spanking. Don't think for a moment that Jon would spank the kids too. He is such an idiot.

Do any of you remember who stayed home through most of the childrens younger age. Yep, it was JON!!!!! And as for Kate taking care of them now, she has a sitter, nanny, friend (whatever she wants to call the caregiver). She couldn't even go through getting organized with professionals without a """friend"""" coming over. Where has this friend been all the other times.
Kate works very hard on looking and sounding good on camera! Stop and listen to what she says when she is around the kids. Also, take a look at how she smacked Emeril on the show, when she was told to let Jon do it her way. Who has always made comments about things like the kitchen not being functional, the dogs being a pain (and then taking one away from the kids and not allowing them to name them).. Come on people, it takes two to make and two to give up on marriage!!!

Right on Vaborn. My 2 boys are still laughing about THE LOOK AND SNAPPING of the fingers when they misbehaved in public. They knew they were going to get there behinds swapped when they didn't stop what they were doing wrong.They have both grown to be wonderful men and great fathers. More than I can say for Jon.Kate had 8 kids and 1 spoiled brat to contend with.

When she always doing guest apperance about "poor me I have no money and my husband always with other women" BITCH please!!! Poor, poor Jon being abused by little Kate. How many of you "women" would be able to maintain a civil disposition with eight children pulling at you left and right. I have three at home, 3, 2, 10 months; and, by the time dinner comes along, I am so tired I fall asleep over my food. If I had to deal with a man like Jon, I would have taken a .45 and put him out of his misery. No mother should be subjected to the like of Jon. Thank GOD I have a man at home and not another child to content with. My man sits me down in front of the TV or gives me a book to read; while he feeds, baths, tells a story, and then are ready for bed. If I didn't have that kind of help from him, I would be just like Kate; and, I mean I wouldn't just be critizing my man, I would be either hitting him with a 10' pole or tossing him out of the house. Kate should be glad she does not have to deal with another undiscipled child; and, who want to be with a man after he has been with other women, that is disgustin

No where in the world (California excluded) is it against the law to spank your kids. It's illegal to BEAT your children. There's a difference. Spanking hurts their feelings more than anything.

Did anyone read the "rest of the story" or the rest of the text message? Kate seems to just want a special day free of turmoil for the twins and Jon just wants to stir up more muck. For someone who wants to get off TV and restore family values he sure is going about it the wrong way. He's bringing camera crews from ET,The Insider,etc. to film his "I'll do whatever I want" arrival at the Pa. home. Where did his desire to do the right thing for his kids go this time?
