It is so sad what jaycee went trough, but what I don't understand is why didn't she try to escape from those monsters when she was already an adult, she could of done it at night time when they were sleeping or when she went to work with them, I believe she had opportunities to do so, maybe because as she declared she fell in love with him, anyway,I wish her and her family a total recovery from this horrible ordeal and happiness, I also hope the Garridos get what they deserve, the death penalty.

I am so happy she is free, He stole her childhood and so much more. I know she must be strong because she made it thru the hell he "that man" put her thru. I don't know why he is not in the electric chair, why should he have a trial? He is guilty as sin. I feel no pitty for him or his wife. All my feelings are for Jaycee and all my prayers are with you.

i'M GLAD SHE IS BACK HOME. What I don't understand is her inability to slip a note to someone about her circumstance --- any number of things could have been written - call the police, call my mother, write about being kidnapped. Well I suppose we'll find out about it some day.

I still am angry to think the world was denied this radiant girl/woman for 18 years. Her ability to survive this ordeal in apparently such great shape both mentally and physically is a testament both to her and the nurture of her real family for the first 11 years of her life. Well perhaps she will be able to use the platform her celebrity now gives her to do good and lead a happy, productive life. I like to think so, anyway. And look at the picture of her Mom in People. Compare that smiling face with the poignant videos she made so many years ago appealing for her child to come home. Quite uplifting.

It doesn't matter where the children came from they need to be loved. Remind your children that it doesn't matter whre they came from it's what they make of their life that matters.

What a statement of female resilience! Jaycee makes me prouder than I already am to be a girl! What incredible strength! May God continue to bless her and keep her and her entire family.

and i think it was so cruel of the kidnapper to have children with her, and disgusting of his wife for helping him. I hope they both get what they deserve which is a lifetime in jail
