Jaycee Dugard Photo: Revealed!

by at .

Held against her will for a staggering 18 years in a dump that could almost literally be described as a hellhole, Jaycee Dugard somehow emerged unscathed.

Now, with the first Jaycee Dugard photo made public since she was found alive in August, the kidnapping victim is slowly  adjusting to her normal life again.

"I'm so happy to be back with my family," she said.

Jaycee Dugard Interview Pic

She is living in seclusion with her mom, Terry Probyn, and the two daughters – Angel, 15, and Starlit, 11 – fathered by her alleged kidnapper, Phillip Garrido.

Jaycee says she has begun the slow process of recovery by riding horses, cooking meals and is thinking of collaborating on a book about what she endured.

"They are living a surprisingly normal life, considering the circumstances," Terry's stepmother, Joan Curry, tells the celebrity news publication's interviewer.

We admire her strength and wish her nothing but the best.

Dont be a jerk. By the grace of GOD is how she survived! Normally thry would have killed her. Its a miracle she was found at ALL. PRAYERS saved her! Instead of being rude and talking crap. Why dont you just hush? And i agree.. THANK GOD SHE WAS FOUND. AND THANK GOD SHES HAPPY NOW

I disagree with John. We should definitely be grateful to God that she was finally found. God isn't the only one out there. There is good and there is evil. Satan is very much alive and active in this world. We blame God for so many things and let the devil of the hook for everything. Thank God that Jaycee was found and has an opportunity to live a normal life again.

For those of you who "Thank God " for her return, you should "Blame God" for her kidnapping. We are all glad she was found safe and happy that she can possibly live a somewhat normal life after her horrible ordeal . Prayers didnt save her, Prayers didnt return her, and God had nothing to do with it. Luck and Timing and her own internal strength were what saved this young women.
